Well, it's time to get this started again.
Some of you may remember my last trucks...
And of course Lowla, in which I far surpassed my expectations.
And now onto what I'm calling Lowla v2.0 because I had no desire to sell Lowla #1, sometimes life happens I guess
Right now I'm just working on getting her running and (of course) loooow. Patina will be adjusted a little...no paint for this truck though, the stripes are too badass to get rid of
Enough chatter here she is!!
That's all pre-pressure wash. It was originally the parts truck I got for free with the first white truck I bought. I almost didn't go back and pick it up I'm sure glad I did now though!
Lineup of completion is.
5 speed trans (originally a 5 speed truck)
Weber 32/36
Master cylinder
Back window and windshield
Seat/seats
Radiator
...just to get it moving, I'll cross the other bridges as I get there.
Now, I got her somewhat cleaned up.
So much nasty shit! Good thing I'm a detailer
Then the fun begins!!
Pulled the grille, I have a plan for it. Just have to find it
Pulled all the ac shit. Thanks to phone help from Ashton
Found a house of spiders.
Immediately killed them with the closest spray I had. PB Blaster
I doused it all. I FUCKING **** spiders!
Now, minus unbolting the exhaust and probably I few hoses or wires I missed, the ol 22r is ready to be pulled and cleaned along with a cleaned bay and possible wire tuck
That's where I'm at so far. I really have no idea what I'm doing, never pulled a motor cleaned/tucked a bay, installed a trans, or put a motor back in...but I've met some great people with much more knowledge I can learn from! It should be fun.
Trying to be running by July 20th for southrnfresh 4! Cross you fingers fellas, I'm gonna need it.
