Since picking the car up, cleaning it up has been my main priority. It needs a new wing and also needed the crusty and rusty valance sorting. Today was the day to sort the valance!
As it was:
During:
After:
I also decided to test fit the wheels properly. Fronts are spot on but the rears will need ALOT of work to get them on. Smaller tyres and some camber (Some how) This was before I painted the valance
Next up is a new wing and also a new sunroof moulding as mine is a little crusty and old.
Does anyone know how you go about cambering the rear? It's obviously a lot more complicated than the VWs i'm used to lol

Well, after a couple of new parts and a bit of rust removal/repair, the car is now fully road legal. Oh, and then there's this...

Saw this for sale a while ago, didn't expect it to end up here but I'm really glad it did
Looks amazing man, I hope the economy problems aren't too much of an issue. Really excited to see how this project goes, best of luck with it!

Gorgeous car! If you ever swap interiors, let me know. I'd love to get my hands on a green one.
Also great choice in wheel. Excited to see this one done.
