Thanks buddy!Originally posted by P78 View Postoh hey, this is awesome
Fitted the tyres and realized running the 285 on the rear makes the wheels virtually impossible to fit without blowing the university student budget. Have now stripped the tyre and plan on purchasing some 255 semi slicks.
Heres how the rear are sitting now! Tyres soon to be fitted and gaurd work to begin..

Cheers
Heres a photo of them when i got them from Whitehorse Industries after being rebuilt. Not assembled just sitting there sandwhich mounted. They used to be 17x9 and 17x10. Happy with the steps. So keen to get them on! Specs are:Originally posted by DioXidE View Postpics of new wheels bro!
Front 18x10 +33
Rear 18x11.5 + 30
Fronts will need some slip on or bolt on spacers to clear my big brakes when they go on im pretty sure. We'll see

Photo from the other week when i redid my headlights. Took them apart by heating the silicon up in the oven and then sanded and buffed the lens, cleaned projector etc. Had to respray the reflector aswell as the chrome paint was patchy and faded. Resealed then with some black heavy duty sealant and they didnt leak in the last week of rain! Came up great. Will get a good pic when the wheels go on.

few updates,
Have been working on my calipers over the last week. Apparently they were rebuilt 1000kms ago so they wont need to be taken apart. I've just paint stripped them and start sanding to get a nice surface the caliper paint will stick to. Originally planned to paint them black but im swinging towards painting all 4 calipers white IF i get my wallet out again and find some 2pot rear calipers and rotors (which seem to be as rare as hens teeth over here in Australia). Complete brake overhaul will also include new rear rotors and stainless lines. Want to pick up the bigger TT Supra brake master cylinder aswell for better pedal feel.
Before and after paint stripping and sanding rust off

The OZ Futuras are still being drilled and assembled at the wheel shop so they're still a week or so out. Bought new valves for them and managed to find a set of new Carbon rings + screws off ebay! Stoked about that.

Thanks man! Yeah i just love N/A power and response. And of course the induction noise of individual throttles. Will be doing headwork more n/a tuning at the same time as itbs, just dont know how far i want to go as money is kinda an issue as im going back to Uni soon.Originally posted by MommysLittleMonster View PostThis is going to be fantastic. Props to you for going the N/A route, I have a deep respect for all-motor builds. I've always had a soft spot for Soarers, and yours just hits all the right notes.
Thanks dude! Wasn't really sure how people would react to he high beam delete, I've seen it done once before and wanted it since. Pretty happy with how it turned outOriginally posted by Miroteknik View PostNice, I like the high beam delete! These cars are like whales, especially in gray. Buddy had a black one, yours should look great in black. Will be watching
