The factory teal with the white BBS was classic. I was disappointed when you dropped in another 2.slow, but then you came to my rescue! Good work.

A friend has the same color as yours and is building a vr6 in it atm. Still convincing him to clean his bay and this will help.
good luck with the build, looks good
I don't blame him if he doesn't. Bay shaves aren't that fun lol. The outcome is worth it though. Thank you for the kind words!

Pretty much all of the glaze work is done. Just a few tiny spots need touched up. Here are some pics in primer.

We went ahead and bolted the firewall in too. Sealing it was a complete pain in the ass. Still some work to do on that. We also decided to lay a thin coat of color down for shits and giggles.

Well pretty much all of the holes in the bay have been shaved as you can see. I only kept heat. Or are you talking about the tuck?Originally posted by brandonxdent View PostMakes me miss my mk3. So excited to see the finished bay. Do you plan to do a super extensive shave or keep it comfortable?instagram: schwebby

Put in some more work on Sunday. We got around to welding in the plates for the floor. Not the prettiest welds, but functional and will be coated with seam sealer. Then I have to finish the undercoat.

I also had the chance to start on my motor. It should be looking pretty and back together here very soon. I just need some gaskets and miscellaneous hardware.

But here is the good news....it is done! Just needs some wetsanding and a good buff.
I promise that is LB6T. Some of the lights in the shop went out. So disregard the poor lighting and blurriness. I will definitely post more soon.

Oh and my gf's car is 99% done too. It just needs a few final touches.

I haven't done much the past few days other than order a bunch of parts. We did get it dropped on the ground to roll around though. Here are some more pics before wet sanding and buffing.
I love how these came out.

I love what the change in lighting does to it.

I will be making quite a bit more progress this weekend. So stay tuned!instagram: schwebby

I have been really bad at taking pictures of this whole thing. Keep forgetting I started a build thread lol.
Finally put some paint down on the motor.

And because I am a cheap ass...I replaced my control arm bushings rather than buying assembled arms. Replaced my front wheel bearings, hubs and balljoints yesterday too. It all went smooth.

Also got my chains done along with some motor assembly.

Oh and also got started on this......I may be in over my head.

It's been a little bit since an update. A lot of progress has been made. Unfortunately I don't think it will be done for SOWO though.
This car was actually pretty clean. Very minor body work needed other than the few things that were shaved.

This fender was a complete pain in the ass. It had a little damage on the body line. I should have just bought a new one.

Then this happened. The passenger side has hockey pucks so it sits a little wonky. I am going to raise the driver side too. (disregard the oil cap and intake)

Took a break from the body and worked on some of the small parts

and got everything all wrapped up

I am really excited to have this!

Okay...now here comes the good stuff.
Put down a light dust coat.

Found a few flaws, fixed them and spot primed.

I only got one pic with the base down.
