Well after a long time sitting my car has seen the light. I have been having a lot of issues with the painter on getting his part finished. Along with several screw ups along the way. As of now everything but the hood and few other small bits have been painted. It is far from a perfect paint job, but the saying "you get what you pay for" is true here. Although I am still fairly satisfied considering what I've paid thus far.

After I pushed her out for a quick wash.

I hope to have her back in my possession within the next two weeks.

Oh and my wheels are for sale too

I am almost finished with the harness. Only a couple sensors left to extend. Then time to wrap it all up and put in the dash. I am so excited to see it with some interior again.

I guess it is about time for an update. I haven't had the chance to do much work over the past few weeks. Been spending way too much time at work. I have still managed to get a decent amount done on the car over the past couple weeks. Wish I had taken more pictures of it.

I finished stripping the interior panels and got most of them painted. I was also able to snag a new headliner at the junkyard. I will tackle that eventually.

Actually started extending my harness. All on my own....we will see how this goes lol.

I was able to paint some parts and mock it up again.

I was not happy with the intake and engine cover. So I wrinkle coated them. Forgot to snag a pic of the intake though.

Finally got around to putting all the moulding, mirrors, handles, windows and trim on. The rear was a bitch and I bent up the lower portion the first time. Found some mint ones at the yard and now we are all good.

Hoping I can put a big dent in the wiring this weekend.

I was able to get a little bit more done this past weekend. I know it doesn't look like much, but it's all the small stuff that counts.

I painted a few more things for the engine bay including the plastic plug wire covers I haven't done the center cover and obviously the upper intake yet. I was debating a different route than my original plan. So I mocked it all up to try and picture some ideas in my head. I was also able to mess with the wiring some more. I am waiting on a few materials before I move forward anymore with that.

Got the rest of my parts painted too. It was a pain due to some compressor issues, but they are finally done. Just need some good wetsanding and a buff.

And I was finally able to get my CL glass in. Thanks to a good friend who does it for a living. He laid down a perfect bead and got it sitting so right! I love how this cleans up the rear end.

More to come after this weekend.

Well it has been a little while since an update. I haven't had the chance to do much with SOWO and since getting back. The paint is pretty much all wet sanded and buffed for the most part. Just a few spots that need touched up. All of my small parts and hood still need painted though. Here are a couple crappy pics I was able to take.

I also had the chance to start on my wiring yesterday. So far all i have done is mock it up and strip off all the factory wrap. I am hoping tomorrow I can get most of it done.

    No fun.

Aaaaaaaaaaand here it is all juiced up!

Such a relief. I have yet to see it in person myself. I will have much better pictures very soon. Hopefully after it is all buffed.

It's been a little bit since an update. A lot of progress has been made. Unfortunately I don't think it will be done for SOWO though.

This car was actually pretty clean. Very minor body work needed other than the few things that were shaved.

This fender was a complete pain in the ass. It had a little damage on the body line. I should have just bought a new one.

Then this happened. The passenger side has hockey pucks so it sits a little wonky. I am going to raise the driver side too. (disregard the oil cap and intake)

Took a break from the body and worked on some of the small parts

and got everything all wrapped up

I am really excited to have this!

Okay...now here comes the good stuff.

Put down a light dust coat.

Found a few flaws, fixed them and spot primed.

I only got one pic with the base down.

I have been really bad at taking pictures of this whole thing. Keep forgetting I started a build thread lol.

Finally put some paint down on the motor.

And because I am a cheap ass...I replaced my control arm bushings rather than buying assembled arms. Replaced my front wheel bearings, hubs and balljoints yesterday too. It all went smooth.

Also got my chains done along with some motor assembly.

Oh and also got started on this......I may be in over my head.

I haven't done much the past few days other than order a bunch of parts. We did get it dropped on the ground to roll around though. Here are some more pics before wet sanding and buffing.

I love how these came out.

I love what the change in lighting does to it.

I will be making quite a bit more progress this weekend. So stay tuned!
