Looks like a great candidate for a project, seems rust is pretty minimal (so far). Those wheels are rad. So what are your plans for it?
Also, what is the bolt pattern on those? I might be wrong, but I don't think you're going to be able to run adapters. 4x100 to 5 lug adapters usually have an interference, so they have a special design to make it work. 2002's have lug studs sticking out of the hub, as opposed to later cars which use lug bolts that bolt into the hub. I've seen people run adapters on cars that have lug studs, by buying really thick ones and cutting the excess of the stud off so it doesn't stick out, but with the interference that happens on 4 to 5 lug adapters I just can't see any option working other than doing a full 5-lug swap. Just something to look into, and like I said, I might be wrong. Good luck with your buildLast edited by CubbyChowder; 04-06-2014, 01:23 PM.

Well, I guess I should start this off with a little history about myself! My name is Austin, I'm 18 and have so far owned:
-1991 BMW 318iS
-2006 BMW 325xi
-1971 BMW 2002

so I guess you know what I tend to favor
sold the e30, raised the wagon back up and sold the wheels, and the 2002 is too far gone to repair...
But out of some random coincidence, I meet someone selling a 2002tii thatd been sitting in their barn for quite a good amount of years after their son and then their daughter lost interest in it, whent, saw it and bought it and thats where the story begins!
How it looked when I bought it (still mad I couldnt buy the bike with it lol)

I really dont understand why manual windows are so complicated for people

Not a big fan of bumpers

Picked up some new wheels! Fondmetals!

I dont have adapters for them yet, but there is what they should relatively look like, subtract an inch or two

My life lately. The a**hat who did the bodywork on it some odd years ago decided that instead of fixing the rust holes, that theyd just bondo over it
