My good friend Justin came over today and brought his sweet '85 RHD Trueno along with a shweeeet sticker. He helped me knock out the foglight wiring (still need to clean it up a bit, pictures shown are from how the PO wired it) which you can see hanging down super low and wrapped around suspension parts and came up with some ideas for the next few projects. Started taking the wiring harness out, realized how much was involved with that and said NOOOPPEEE ahahaha. The end is a lil teaser of whats to come (;
If you dont already, follow me on instagram @ohhtwo, youll see everything a lot quicker
Started some more work, removing more rust, tackling more bondo, and started stripping the interior and sound deadening! (beware iphone photos)
Random stuff i found under the backseat (white egg thing is a candle)
Trusty sidekick
uuhhhhh thats not supposed to happen
PO decided to put three switches in, which was a cool concept......
Until I saw how they were wired underneath...
1. Foglights
2. Only works whilst car is running
3. Never comes on
Dry Ice time! Brought over a few friends, and let them knock out the sound deadening while I ate
Found some rust in the middle passenger side, and lots in the front frame rail area and started taking out the carpet adhesive with paint stripper
I really have no idea what I'm going to do with em, this is why you dont buy wheels on an impulse
Haha hey I've been there too, I know how it goes. They are cool wheels, too bad they are 5x120. You'd honestly probably be better off just finding a cool set of 4x100 wheels and avoid that hassle altogether. There are plenty of options out there
A traditional 4x100 to 5x120 adapter wouldn't work, since they are designed to be used with lug bolts (at least all the ones I've seen are). I don't know much about redrilling so I can't help you there. Just trying to help prevent future headaches and let downs.

Rust isn't insanely bad, but there are some concerns, frame rails and bottom of the rear apron being two but the floor pans aren't crazy bad.
Plans would be widebody to all hell and making it as aggressive as I can, but we will see how that changes throughout the build.
lug pattern is 5x120, which they do make adapters for, but right now the crazy idea of redrilling everything to 5x120 has been coursing through my head. Haven't looked all too much into it yet though.

Looks like a great candidate for a project, seems rust is pretty minimal (so far). Those wheels are rad. So what are your plans for it?
Also, what is the bolt pattern on those? I might be wrong, but I don't think you're going to be able to run adapters. 4x100 to 5 lug adapters usually have an interference, so they have a special design to make it work. 2002's have lug studs sticking out of the hub, as opposed to later cars which use lug bolts that bolt into the hub. I've seen people run adapters on cars that have lug studs, by buying really thick ones and cutting the excess of the stud off so it doesn't stick out, but with the interference that happens on 4 to 5 lug adapters I just can't see any option working other than doing a full 5-lug swap. Just something to look into, and like I said, I might be wrong. Good luck with your build
