why cant you paint it all at once?.... the car is smaller than the hood of my work truck

because i'm not that good at prepping and taping so i just remove the panel/hood/door and take my time making sure i get every bit covered correctly.

plus i don't care what it looks like between stages

great progress, i really wanna see the bench seat and the shifter, theres a red one on the way to my mother in laws, and your build makes me want to offer them cash for it.

finding a pristine bench that'll fit is becoming a huge PITA.

everything will happen in time though.

Wow, I'm actually interested in a build thread for a festiva!

Have you looked into datsun benches? You can usually find them in good shape, and they run very very narrow.

leave the headliner out, and paint the ceiling of the Sistene chapel on it.
this festiva is epic. just out of curiousity, what is the bolt pattern on it now?
btw the key hole delete with the grill igniter is brilliant.
