Not Your Typical STANCE kid E28 Build. Complete Euro Transformation
Well kept on going with the suspension..sorry youre going to have to hold off a little more for the interior i bought some bc coilovers and ss brake lines, redid all the calipers, flushed the brake system, bled the brakes, and power steering (because its one system). and put her on the ground for some adjustments and alignment. thoughts?
I decided to go with BC weld in coilovers. Ive had a ton of coilovers of the years on all my cars. BC is honestly not a bad bang for your buck. This car isn’t meant to be set up for autocross, or track or drifting, i want a lowered car with comfort. being able to adjust the shock housing instead of the spring gives me this.
big ol socket for those bearing nuts
while i had it apart i figured i should paint the calipers
rears in! those are the easy ones…
time for the front. I had to cut the old strut housing down, to slide the new bc sleeves over them. then weld away!
Welding time! thanks to my friend nick for letting me have access to a nice miller
not too bad…
Painted them up to avoid corrosion..
back together…
in the car she goes….
Everything connect
dust shield and bearing back on
Brakes back on! Love it when it looks so new
Rear is still a little too high…
some just random pics…
euro wipers. I sanded them down and painted.
Time for an alignment. Pretty surprised after replacing everything it wasn’t that far out…
Im also looking for a body kit for this car if anyone knows anyone with something. Im throwing around ideas for Mtech kit, alpina, hartge, bbs, or pfeba. May even mix and match if it flows right. Anyone have one of these front and rear spoilers let me know! thanks
probably wont go all the way down. 1. i dont want to bust an m30 oil pan. 2. as the title of the thread states...im not going for that slammed stanced negative camber e28 shit.
I saw a writeup on R3v i believe where they painted the headliner black with a latex paint. I believe only the M5s came with a black headliner, and mine was sun faded and gross…so i decided to go for it.
Turned out pretty good actually..
Mason strut bar installed.
Time to clean the interior and install all the goodies
