Well Im back for round 2. This is my second alpine white E28 535i. The first build you can go to
to see everything. After that, I ended up moving and needed to sell it. It now resides in Charlotte NC, and believe its being drifted…
I moved to St. Louis, MO, and stumbled upon this gem. SUPER clean 1986 535i, alpine white with cardinal comfort interior. 2 owners, and originally from colorado. I literally have every receipt that was ever put into this thing. The previous owner even made a CD, with included pictures, maint write ups, and maint history in a word document. I knew this would be a great start whenever you find someone that took care of car this much.
When I picked it up…fugly wheels i know.

Took her home, cleaned her up, and installed the first mod…MTECH2 wheel

After A LOT of snow. i got a new job in savannah GA.

Took the long haul down but she made it! here are the pics of what I’m starting with (already tucked bumpers for time being):

Euro goodies are being ordered daily at this point. Here is some of the stuff I just got from poland.

1st order of business. Euro headlight restoration:

Metal polish for the rings:

I found this in the glovebox. pretty cool I’ve never seen it before

Ok…so tucking or not, i CAN NOT stand the US bumpers. Euro light install and USA bumpers off
