  • The Little GTS-T That Could

This build will take a little time, once it hits summer shit will get more on the stancy end of
    things, for now; winter beats.

There may be a slight lack in effort on the quality of this first post. I spent an hour making a
pretty and tidy build thread and it decided to log me out and I lost it all. So fuck it heres is
plain and simple without the sugar coating.

I had a subaru, thing was a piece of shit and I've never had more problems with a car, when
it ran it ran amazingly... however that was seldom if ever.

If you want to see my old RWD converted subaru here's a ***Lickable Clink***

However here's long story short because I'm tired.

Step 1: Sell Subaru for reasons of it blows up all the fucking time.
Step 2: Find someone willing to trade their R32 GTST for a beat to ass hell Subaru.
    Step 3: ???
    Step 4: Profit.

In short I traded my Urabus for a R32 GTST Type-M and the guy gave me $1700 on top, and some parts, neat-o.

Car needed a little TLC but it was a good running car, the chassis had 223XXXkm on it but
the engine only had 80XXXkm on it. she ran pretty good but needed maintenance.

Car came with some goodies; AMS hicas delete kit, apexi coilovers, a front wheel bearing,
and some other knick knacks. Also ordered a headgasket, timing belt, arp head studs,
    etc.

first things first, while I waited for my order to arrive I put in what I had,

Then the following day this happened...

Some ass wipe bumped into me on the highway then cut me off and a couple other people
before running to the nearest exit... too much traffic to catch up or follow... never got a
plate... however a couple days later I got all my parts and went to work to get my mind off
the stupid Edmontonian drivers! However when I started and removed the head I found a
    little surprise.

BHG! unexpected, never leaked or burned anything and the compression was 150psi (+/-
2psi) on all 6. Head was warped 0.005', so it was time for a deck and clean.

Big thanks to everyone at The Block Shop & at Piston Broke Preference!

Other than that all that has gotten done is a lot of hooning and holding hands while driving!

But there will always be more...
    keep posted, keep sleezy.

        So, this happened.

The little T25 thought it was being nice and wanted to both cool and lubricate the
Exhaust system for maximum efficiency! However it didn't get a good education
And failed to realise how dumb it sounded.

        Oh well, It's T28 time!

Its not much of a larger disco potato, however it should take 16psi all day long
Without any fuss! Also gonna rebuild the T25 and probably put it in something
Silly. Like a 1uz swaped miata. (Whoops did i just say that out loud?)

Big thanks to colton at piston broke,
Always saving my ass when im broke ahaha

Heres some cool shit he's been up too
Tubbing one of two 240sx's as well as swapping then both for rb25det's.
Also sone valve regrinds and stuff.

Little miniature update, what has been done, what shall be done in the near future and
                  what not.

But, before I start here's another picture to show how bad my turbo was blown!

Now onto the new stuff, been talking to my good friend Colton (if any of you have seen my
Subaru build you'd know him and I have been working on projects together for quite some
time now.) about modifying my hubs and LCA's for extra angle.

He's been doing the same to his RB25 S13, which the modifications haven't been finished
just yet, however its turning out very well, especially since he's using a 30 year old
                  gassless mig welder!

(sorry for potato quality, Coltons not much of a photographer.)

Other then that not much has happened to the car, banged out the dent on the front quarter
and sprayed over it to prevent rust.

come end of April I'll be doing a shit load of body work and getting some sleezy rims
hopefully. Student broke life prevents much at these tough times.... but hey credit cards
coming in the mail soon... hello debt!

its best with 2 men, one welding, one with a torch heating the fuck out of it,
also use a welder with gas, or it will be difficult to fully penetrate, however you can do it gassless!

also rb20's are gangster as fuck, especially once im done im hoping so have a hybrid between a 20 and 26... basicaly a 2.3 stroker ahaha!

Little mini update, rolled my front fenders so I wouldn't rub like a cunt with the spacers,
the unmolested fender needed many massages, many. however, the done dickered' fender
didnt need much because I already hammered the shit fuck out of it now to long ago!

Ths vehicle isn't going to be super duper pooper scooper low, but it does need much more
low. drift cars need to be able to hit full lock yeahknow!

However two of the reasons I went with spacers in the front are as follows; when my hubs
are modified the spacers will help my wheel from kissing my LCA, however they will still
need to be notched and with the spacers and the size/offset of these rims they will nearly
be in the same position as the rims I am going to purchase, allowing for some planning
                            ahead!

Anywhore, that is all for now folks!
