HO-LEE SHIT! This is incredible. So does "rear bags on order" mean the front ones are on?

    It's a work in progress^

I got to say though, polished lips with the white faces would be much better IMO. Although, keeping polished wheels clean is a nightmare. Been there before.
No can do on the polished lips. There is chrome leftovers underneath the paint. Sanded to hell, but still there. Blasting and powder coat are on hold till next season at least. These wheels I painted with Rustoleum

Negative. Rear is getting done first. The front koni's won't be able to handle anything stiffer than my current setup, so It's gonna cost 800 bucks to get the strut/bag combo for the front. The rear koni's are up for bags though, so that was $500 bucks cheaper. Also, I need the air to drive this setup out back, up front there is more room to play with due to wheel offsets. So one step at a time, I am slowly but surely getting this wagon to where I want it.

Just a pic of the rears before pulling. I had already had the fears rolled, but there was no way I was going to be able to drive this. The guys who mounted the tires said my offset was in the neighborhood of +15 on a 19x9.5. If anyone is interested, I have a solid inch of inside clearance to the spring/strut. I wanted the extra to fit an airbag, since the stock spring is some 4" in width. But if one were to stay static, you could fit a 10-10.5 wide wheel back there.

Yeah I understand. Been there before too. The Wald's I used to have were chromed and when I refinished them I had to sand it all off, by hand. Yes, by hand. I spent close to 50 hours refinishing the lips but the did turn out well:

Looking forward to the rest of this build. I think it's going to look awesome on air.

By hand... That is dedication man. Something I don't quite have for these wheels.

Over the holiday I wanted to get the car rolling static. Here is how it went.

Fit all four wheels. Take it out of the driveway. Rub, rub, rub. Bring it back in and work the fenders. Rub rub rub... Raise the rear a 1/4". Rub rub rub. Work the fenders some more. Set the rear shocks on max stiff. Rub!@!! It's so effing close!!!

At this point I was getting agitated. I should have left it, but NO! Called friend to help. And we wrinkled the lip a bit

I did all this not wanting to add any more rear camber. It's out there, and I'm not the super camber type. There isn't a chance in hell I am going back at those fenders, though. So I bought adjustable rear lower arms... and talked to a body guy today. Then next is spacers and camber plates up front. There I do want a little camber... Then more low

                      I still grabbed photos too

                              Moar Saab love! <3

Love the front fitment, not a fan of the rear though. Seems a bit too much to me.

I would have liked it to sit about 2-3mm inwards. Someone has to do it though :P
