Totally hear you. I don't want knock offs, but it wouldn't be permanent. 5x110 is a difficult bolt pattern, and I don't wanna run adapters either. I want to run a 1 piece modern looking wheel, so I'll probably have to custom order something in the end.

        Thanks bud.

So I **** the stock 17's. The white eh, but the car wasn't as low. The black just made them disappear. Which leads to something in between.... I had to adjust the rear Koni's, as I had them too firm and the car rode like shit. The rear wheels were already off. 10 bolts and 4 can's of grey later.

Don't worry, the dip peals off the tire as long as you lay down enough.

        Then, at dusk.

And they look blue to me... Someone trade me something, anything else. I just can't make myself spend money on real wheels till it's on air.

Pick up some Cobalt SS wheels. You can usually find them pretty cheap on Craigslist or eBay. They've got the same lug pattern and center bore so they go right on with zero modification. Plus they're 18".

Or some Pontiac G6 GTP wheels.

Same goes for the Saturn Sky, Pontiac Solstice, and I think Chevy Malibu. They're all 5x110 and wheels will go right on. If wobble bolts don't bother you, Volvo (5x108) and Mercedes and Audi (5x112) will work too. I'm running Volvo wheels on mine.

          It's a work in progress^

I tried to fit some Mercedes wheels a little while back. However, I converted to studs to be able to run thicker spacers, and I can't seem to find any wobble nuts. I am going to make air the priority anyway, so it's ok. Thanks for the info though, JRod.

So I've found and purchased some wheels. Craigslist of course 3 piece Asanti's in 19x8f and 19x9.5r. One had a bend which I straightened. Then found out after straightening and pulling the tires that one of the rears was a 9" with the other being 9.5".

So what I am working with actually is 2 1.5" lips, 2 3" lips, 3 6.5" barrels, and 1 6" barrel. The plan is to do 9's up front with 6" barrels and 3" lips, and 9.5's out back with 6.5" barrels and 3" lips. Already ordered the spare barrel and working with a vendor on here for a pair of 3" lips. They need some refinishing of course, but all in all I am happy with the sub $800 tag with everything said and done. Here's the test fit pics with a 9" in front and a 9.5" out back on top of a 9mm spacer to clear the inner strut.

Oh HELL YES! I'm planning to fit at least 9.5 in the rear of mine, so I'm really excited to see how yours turn out.

Haha! 9.5 fits just right, flush, no spacer for strut clearance at about 40et. If u wanna do a little pulling and some good stretch a 10 should fit too. We will see how much real world clearance I have once I get tires.

Ordered the replacement barrel for the front, and ordered a pair of lips for the rear. New plan=

6" barrel and 3" lip front for 9" overall
6.5" barrel and 3.5" lips rear for 10" overall

I'll post pics as soon as the parts arrive. Still haven't decided on colors yet.

Nice, it'll look good when everything is on. I like Asantis because they aren't the typical brands everyone runs so you can generally get great deals on them, even the non-hideous ones, and they're still modular wheels.

The new (to you) wheels look like they are a nice subtle design that should fit well. Wagons are so badass!

wasnt a fan of the plasti dip wheels in any colour apart from standard, but black went with the chrome bits you done, like where this is going though

Trying to decide on colors at this point. All the parts to build them up are ordered. I got a great deal on this set, and with a standard 5 spoke design I think it'll work out great too.

                            So what do you guys think as far as color? These are the two options I'm throwing around right now;

-Grey/silver lips and barrels, polished bolts, color matched faces
                            or
-Polished barrels, lips, and bolts, white faces

Polished with the white faces 😁, but then again I'm biased

Definitely needs polished lips. Not sure the color for the centers.
