        Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments.

Went online to try and find Auto Plas and see if there might be a chance of getting a fitting kit for the window louvre? Bearing in mind they haven't sold them for about 20 years! Anyway, gave them the part number and they had one gathering dust on the shelf. Weirder still, their factory turned out to be less than a mile from where my e21 is being built!

All the arch work is finally finished and we can now drop my car on its rails without any rubbing issues. We're finally on to the paint but the first shots have got to go to one of the magazines who've helped me with parts supply.

The e12 LSD has been rebuilt with a shorter ratio CWP and dual billet mounts. Everything will come back out for a final clean, polish and assembly after the paint is finished.

All the wiring is finally finished and hidden from view. We ran the headlight wiring etc through the chassis rail and the whole bay is super clean now.

Time to start fitting the NOS parts I've been collecting.

          Big box arrived yesterday.

          Shiny shiny!

www.jenvey.co.uk & www.dtafast.co.uk are owed a massive thank you for all their help!

The quality of this kit is awesome. I know that Jenvey make absolutely everything ''in house'' and cast their own manifolds etc, and the finish is superb. Excuse the phone pics as I don't think they do justice.

Just sat on top of the OE system, to get an idea of how it'll look. There certainly aren't any obvious clearance issues and hopefully we can run some longer velocity stacks once installed?

The kit comes complete with a linkage kit and cable

Will be running DTA standalone management.

Initially, will be running the M50 inlet and single TB, doing some dyno runs and then installing the Jenvey kit, to measure gains.

We're working hard to get finished within the next few weeks. The trimmer is coming today and hopefully going to get the interior sorted.

Was busy sound deadening the inside of the bodyshell yesterday. I didn't go crazy and try to cover every square mm in Dynamat, but I did make sure all the floors, front and rear firewall and inside the doors were covered. Once the trimmer does his thing, it should make for a bit less road noise and a better sound from the speakers and sub.

I've released the dash and next job is to route the wiring for the auxiliary gauges. I have to delete a couple of fresh air vents but I much prefer the idea of having the gauges nearer my eye level. The E21 dash is a bit bland too, so these should make it look way better.

I also have an AC type centre console to restore. I don't have AC but these are rare in the UK and I just wanted something that was factory but different.

Haven't posted updates for a while, but things are moving along.

              Dash altered for gauges.

Stack are nice quality and the dash now looks much better.

Rad fitted and new senders installed.

NOS headlights and mounts. I've tried to find as many new parts as possible.

More progress yesterday and car is now in final primer.
