Little cleaner and elbow grease, and alot of scraping and brushing later....

Now, trans is back in, waiting on fabbing up a new battey tray, then should be driveable ready to start adding the cool stuff.

Got it running, needs some more parts to get it safe but she runs and starting to look decent.

          And yes, actual mileage.

Once I get some more major things fixed ie: cv axle, motor mounts, wheel bearings, oil leaks... Ill be able to work on the wheels and then some suspension parts.

Start of a new rear floor cover with, make a template. Then cut the wood....

Painted the cross bars black. Looks better. Bad angle.

Why not use one piece of wood? It doesn't look like it sits even

Tried that. The shape and size wont allow it to go in or out as 1 piece. Im also using scrapes of free wood, so I used what I had to work with.

Wow, and I thought my seat bolsters were jacked up. I'd love to find an EF hatch, let alone a free one.

I should have taken one of the horrid job and things I used to fix it. ;p Cant see it with the seat cover now, but it was good. Anyway, onto the staining....

I thought you were going to throw some carpet on the wood floor...I'm bi-curious to see what it'll look like stained.

Its not bad, but not as nice as I thought it would be. It was my first time and I know what not to do next time. The wood was not as consistant as I had hoped, and the rust on the seats looks terrible, and the plastic has not been cleaned so overall it doesnt help. Oh well. On to more stuff.

The fact that the grain isn't all facing the same direction isn't helping either.

Either carpet that floor or cover it with a sheet of veneer.

Ok so spoiler alert, it looks alot better when there is some light on it, and not in the back dark corner of the shop. Though I agree the mismatched wood does nothing to help.

You could always go and buy a cheap pack of laminate flooring. I did my hatch for $20 and had a hell of a laugh when the cashier asked me what I needed one pack of flooring for.
