was bored so decide why not make a time line.
a lot of this is going to be copy past from another forum but youll get the idea.
Time reasoning I have an Imola b5 s4 and Bamboo b5 a4
Im 21 currently and am a Junioe in college as a petroleum engineer. I got the car when i was 16 completely stock and my first car, its a 1997 A4 1.8tQ 5sp. Bamboo exterior black interior. At first i liked the color and shifted on and off and now that ive had it for 4 years its grown on me, plan on keeping it forever. Over the past 4 years have had a perfectly reliable car and awesome year round. all the changes have occurred as of friday.
All the upgrades were thanks to ThatA4t (jordan)
This was the car friday morning.... and how its looked for the past 3 years as well. nothing different just all stock

Took the car to a friends house friday night started coilover install around 9pm and was driving home around 1am and snapped an axle at 75 mph on the highway. pulled over called my friend who i was following and the one who did the install. managed to limp the car into a parking lot and left it there for the night.

Saturday around 3pm we went back to the car and swapped both front axles in the parking lot. We managed to move it right next to a tree so we had shade the whole time.

Monday went to another friends house to help strip down an e30 he is parting out and while doing that i raised my car up and mounted the 17s, BUT they had 235/45 and id rub on bumps, plus they were old and dried out so decided to it was time to just buy new tires just to be safe.
wednesday (yesterday) i went and bought new 215/45 kumhos, which ride awesome and no longer rub and im at a height where i dont hit everything yet the car looks good still.
So to day i went out and took a couple shots of the car. looks slightly different because i put on the front a4 cover as soon as i got home but you get the idea of the progress.

I still have a magnaflow 14815? that still needs to be welded on. also planning on going through the engine to ensure it is 100%, Plans that i still have for this summer are ecodes and all red tails. and for next summer i am planning to go s4 front, s4 skirts delete lower trim on doors, euro s4 rear, and a nice set of wheels.
Also plan on going lower once my front fenders get rolled.
Me and some friends met up to grab some pics of our cars the subaru had to leave early he had just got off work and was exhausted.
let me know what you think...

few more here
Tuesday driving to work, just cruising to work in third gear minding my own business when all of a sudden the rpms fly up and i lose third, dont know what happened try to go into forth, fifth, drop to second nothing. still rolling at like 25mph i manage to pull off the road into a little dirt area. Clutch is gone and is not grabbing a single gear. Waited around for like 2 hrs, first hour spent trying to find a trailer or a way to get it home. Second hour sent waiting when i decided what the hell ill call a tow truck and just pay to get it home. $100 bucks later and a missed day of work since i couldnt make it in the car is home. leave it parked outside looks so sad just sitting there.
this is when it got picked up, tow truck people not to happy about having to lay down boards to get the car on the truck.

Fast forward to today jordan came and picked up the car. Motor and trans are getting pulled for new clutch, as well as timing belt, water pump, new gaskets, coolant flange, seals, motor mounts, ect...($1300 in parts) going to track down all leaks, since the engine is being pulled might as well go through and do everything.
the car leaving this morning...

cars been running well apart from the weird whine in first but we'll get it figured out.
couple pics from the last couple days: I know that not every one will like the cars but we all enjoy them.
Side note the blue rs is the fastest car in the group 550hp and runs consistent 11.1 on E85 should break into the 10s pretty soon
