That's some damn impressive rust repair going on. Also the twin turbo setup is a nice touch haha.

Almost two months since last build update. Have been doing small stuff, not worth taking pics (atleast IMO):

-drive axles dismantled, cleaned and put back together with new rubber boots and RedLine vaseline. Axles bolted back on with new bolts
-powersteering / brake booster oil tank had to be moved, othervice cold side boost pipe would have hit it. Made new mounts for the tank and modified the lines
-swapped fuel rail from E34 M30 engine. E28 fuel rail inlet would have hit the coolant reservoir. Had to fix one of the E34 fuel rails mounting points, also added one extra mounting point from E28 rail.
    -intake manifolt bolted back on
-windshield washer container was a little tricky to locate and make. Had to mate universal 3litre container, Ford Sierra Cosworth washer container fill tube, Cosworth washer pump and BMW E34 level senror. Also had to make a bracket for this.
-drive shaft dropped off to local drive shaft shop
-heater matrix dismantled and cleaned. Assembled with new heater radiator
    -downpipes revised and welded through
-sunroof mechanism installed, cover waiting for new gaskets
-squawkers installed on the dash, tweeters installed in original door pods.
-RCA and speaker cables wired to the trunk
-front door assembled, except door cards, inner handles and mirrors
    -door trims installed
-inside of doors sprayed with anti corrosion stuff
    -engine bay wiring started
-sound proofing matting and carpet installed
    -heater matrix installed
    -etc..

    Few pics..

    Inside of the car:

    Engine bay:

    Ditributor cap delete-plate:

    Downpipes welded up:

Few extra gauges, tried to copy style of Alpina setup..:

Hi-Fi setup. DLS three way speakers for front.

BTW: Still have one pair of motor mounts for newer style M30 (inc.S38) to E28.
Passenger side mount 10mm longer for extra exhaust manifolt clearance. Can be a problem with S38 with original intake plenum.

    Price 150€ +shipping.

I think that's not going to happen..

Some progress on the beemer. No pics, sorry!

-Got the drive axles rebuild and bolted them back on the car
-Had to move the power steering / brake booster oil reservoir, boost pipe would have hit it. Made brackets for it.
-Swapped fuel rail to E34 one, because inlet nozzle was hitting the cooling system expansion tank. Had to fix the E34 rail before fitting it, one of the mounting brackets had cracked. Also welded on fourth mounting bracket from E28 rail (E34 has three brackets, E28 four).
-Started to plan where to place windshield washer reservoir, almost got it figured out. Needs one universal reservoir, filling tube from Ford Sierra Cosworth reservoir, BMW pump and BMW level sensor..
-Drive shaft has been dropped off to drive shaft shop for new front tube, new universal joints and balancing
-Took apart the heater matrix and cleaned it, ordered new heater radiator for it.

Got the drive shaft tacked to its correct lenght, managed with cutting up only two shafts.
Only major mod was changing the front rubber joint to E34 drive shafts rear CV-joint. Also replaced the center mount with E34 one.
Waiting for few new parts to arrive before i can take the shaft to local drive shaft shop for changing the front tube and balancing.

Assembled few parts to the front; IC, oil cooler, radiator and power steering cooling tubes:

It looks like oil cooler is crooked in pictures, but it isnt.

Bolted the manifolts and turbos to the engine:
