Holly hell talk about an abandoned thread! I've been crazy busy with my move across the country. Unfortunately the decision was made to sell the Dgaf subaru because I got an offer I couldn't refuse. it was a bittersweet moment because I hadn't even done half of what I wanted to the car. I currently have a new car that I'm debating on making a project as well.

If ya liked ****** or Whatching what did with the other car then maybe a1985 Subaru RX Turbo 5spd will entertain some of ya !

Got it in a trailer park in north Idaho at 12 at night from some hill billy

Currently not running but spoke with owner of car for past 10 yrs and said the car ran great when he had it 5 days before I got it.

Sooooooo turns out that these cars and this car specifically is one of the funny jokes given to the public by subaru(kind of like the ugly rubber shift boots on gc impreza's) because this engine,ea82T, is the most assbackwards designed, extrenuosly cramped, bad flowing,ticking time bomb ever crafted!! It's been weeks now of off and on tinkering with this shitbucket and still no luck getting it to run,pop,fart or give any glimpse of hope.
~I've pulled subarus out of swaps that had no oil in then and they ran in no time so really I just think this car is dooped.

So I pulled it out and washed it and figured maybe it didn't like years of dirt on it and would start..... Yeh NO.

Love this build. I've been looking for a Subaru for my daily as a start work on my Volvo 122s, either go with something like this, or a forester!
