FINALLLY i was ready to actually start installing the airride, so started by shaving down the nipple on the bottom cup in the rear all the way down to let the bag sit flush to it, then shave the top nipple of the cup a bit to be able to let the bag go inside the cup. had to cut that little metal rod out and then cut a hole in the side of the universal cup to put a line through to the PTC. then to hold the bottom on just got a piece of steel from home depot cut it, drilled a hole and thread it under the bottom of the cup to hold the bag on from moving.
So, to make sure I get it...you ran a bolt through a piece of flat stock directly into the threaded hole on the bottom of the bag? Or do you have universal flat plates on the bottom or something? I'm planning a bag setup for my Rio and the Forte is VERY similar.
Probably the last update im going to do for this thread.. im gonna part the car out after this last car show in a few weeks the Auto combine, Going to take everything off and sell the car and move onto the next project ive been wanting.. Sad to do it but if been bored with the car for awhile and the value is plummeting more and more, but i will have another build soon to come. Going to pick up a 2012 Wrx hatch already have half of the airride for it and these wheels will go on it for the time being. Thanks for everyone who followed my build
