Ok, time for a small update. A while back I had rebuilt a pair of Webers but they were starting to become more and more temperamental. They had sprung a vacuum leak at the throttle shafts. So I pulled them off again and installed the Pegasus Weber throttle shaft bearing "upgrade". It turns out the throttle shaft bushing bores were excessively worn out and it still had a vacuum leak at that area so I decided, fuck it... time to order new Webers. Installed the Webers today and got them dialed in!

Also installed new lower control arms and sway bar end links:

More fun ahead, found that I now have to rebuild the front calipers:

I'll try to get some pics of how low the front end sits with the coilovers soon.

Nice progress so far, on the mirrors part I'd wait, maybe looking into other options. I was thinking that as well but ended up picking up a Triumph oem bullet mirror. Talbots just bring too much in my opinion

Time for an update. I finally finished going through the entire brake system, rebuilt all 4 calipers, new hoses, rotors an pads. Today was a big day for me, as I was finally able to place it back down on the ground and see how she sits. Even more importantly, I got to drive it!!! Ridin' dirty with no tags or license plates, so I couldn't go very far, but I drove it like I stole it! At the gas station and that's my brother cleaning the windshield...

                  How it sits:

                  Angling it into the driveway...

Teaser Pic, test fitting the 16" BBS wheels. Currently waiting on my step up lips an barrels to 18" from Spinfab. I can't wait!

This is another one of my most favorite body styles, cant wait to see what it turns out to be... I recently had another one of my favorite bodied Bmw's, and I sold it last year some time, but I am looking for an 3.0 like yours to do something similar.

The spinfab 18 inch lips are the ones with the huge bolt shelf?

I really don't know. Is that a bad thing or just not as aesthetically pleasing (personal preference)?
