So, I bought this Coupe last year and have finally got around to working on it and making some progress. It's an auto for now, which I plan on swapping over to a manual trans down the road
But for now, I'm just in the process of getting it running right and going through all the mechanical aspects of the car so that it can be road worthy... I want to drive this thing!

My plans for this car are to lower it which I'm currently working on and to build a set of BBS RS 18's with slant lips to roll on. Since I don't have much time anymore, with Grad school and Work, I would have liked to tear the entire car down and repaint it, but for now I will just do a glass out body repair and respray in a satin silver.

Anyways this is the car I'm up against along with all of my other projects:

What are your opinions on some Talbot "Bullet" Fender Mirrors on these cars?

budget permitting I would repaint it with it's oem silver, and then go to lower. mirrors will be pulled off by a nice stance Imo

        Slamming the 3.0cs

First order of business was to convert over to some dual Weber 32/36's and ditch the original Solex carbs. In the process I had the Intake Manifolds and Valve Cover Polished. Replaced the Starter and took care of all of the routine maintenance... oil change, plugs wires, cap, rotor, etc.

Now I'm at the stage where I finally get to slam this thing. I order to do so, I am using a variety of parts from other vehicle makes and models:
        1. Strut Tubes from a MX63/MX73 Cressida
        2. Camber Plates for an AE86
        3. Short Stroke Struts for an AE86 - These are 4 way adjustable KYB AGX's for a SW20 MR2
        4. Needle Bearing Top Hats - AE86
        5. Coilover kit for 90-97 Honda Accord (Megan kit comes with 450 & 400 lb/in springs)

Thanks guys... The satin paint idea is not finalized yet. I'd like to get the stance sorted out and fenders rolled if necessary before any paint goes on. I agree, the original Polaris Silver (gloss) would look a lot better.

Nice project! Looking forward to see it finished
Looks like a close to rust-free car, or are the pictures lying? My own looked pretty rust-free when I bought it, but there were a ton of it underneath everything.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! As we know, no E9 is "rust free" but this car was structurally sound and didn't have any rust in the typical places, which is one of the reasons why I bought it. The rockers, floors and shock towers are all clean.
