I got the dash out of my compact within an hour=) I would assume this is similar but a little more in depth

Yup, if you have experience it should be no problem but I have never took apart a dash so it was a first for me

What ever happened with the style 19's? Almost picked up a set the other day.

Specs were way too small so I gave them to my brother. After running the style 5s then, picking up the style 19s I decided to buy three piece wheels instead of making the rc090s and build them according to spec

Here are some pictures of the camber plates, all the way from Germany. Also I put my lip on and couldn't even get out of my complex, it was ripped off and had to pick it up in the street. Going to find a better way to mount it, or get a smaller one.

So small update today, received my camber plates in the mail today along with other mis. stuff. So hopefully install of the new front custom coilovers and going to be doing some measurements for my wheels. End spec's 18x9.5 et 13 front, 18x11.5 et 15 rear. Also picked up some 328i side panels because I like the look of the more curved than straight heres some pictures of a mock up.

i dont think the side skirts fit the lines of the car. just my opinion tho

How bad was the dash swap? Mine came with a full black interior swap minus dash, console, and carpet.

thats by far the hardest part lol.

the dash can take 20mins or 4hrs it depends on a few things. airbags will slow you down. and not ever having removed a dash can add a few hours! its the zipties and the ac ducting that is the PITA. way worse than an e30 or e36.

OP the car is looking good! the black interior is so much better looking. cant wait to see it painted. techno violet fo sho!

Thanks man its been a long road. And it just doesn't look right because the e34 has a more blocky body type, but a new front lip and and hopefully m5 rear bumper will be coming soon.

Ok so i know i havent updated in awhile but i have accomplished a good amount in the time spent. So ill start off like this:
Bought a Ryobi Random sander, Installed custom coilovers, fixed gas door, fixed window regulator, set up another appointment for paint, bought new camera.

So college just recently started back up, so thats been taking alot of my time up but whenever i have free time i try to make it out to my car to do something. I just installed my coilovers yesterday and it went pretty smoothly. They ride great and go SUPER LOW as in oil pan on ground. I have them threaded all the way up to the top and am still about 1 inch from the ground. Also i went to another paint shop to get a better quote and was quoted at 575 just for fender and door bondo body work. So i said F%$& that, i can do it myself, went out bought a sander and went to work. The worst part was the hood, the clear was melting(IDK HOW), and it ate through alot of sandpaper, it was so runny i could scrape it off with a knife. But i finished that finished door, fender, trunk and roof. I also picked up a New Nikon n65 camera big step up from cell phone quality . I finally decided on a color well narrowed it down between nissan black cherry, and lava red from the 2012 5.0 mustangs. Enjoy the picks and sorry for the rant!!

Yes it would be. I wanted something really dark almost black but that had color in it. I also ordered my wheels today. Set me back 2k! Cookie goes to whoever can guess the wheels!
