I finally got my stock top hats extended welded, did little grinding and cleaning on the welds turned out nice. better than the shitty ebay hats.
Ive been really busy with my e36 project so not much update on my shuttle just torn and slowly piecing parts together.

I still had pretty decent ground clearance though, didn't really scrub until I hit a decent bump in the road. You will probably be lower than my wagon was since I had 16s.

Also, your driveway looks like a cakewalk compared to my mom's driveway and I went up it easily.
Seems like you had the perfect fitment on your wagon. Looked really nice and clean on the thread pictures. What struts were you on with those tophats? I have koni sports and people say 1" is max on these up front and 1.5" in the rear. Kind of unsure what length I should do
yeah I will be lower most likely because of my smaller wheel setup.

on the picture the driveway looks aight but actually it has a freaking dip so no which angle you drive in I scrape my bottoms

Either get an air cup kit and raise the car an inch for driveway entrance purposes, or just skidplate the whole underside and just banzai the car into the garage every evening
haha damn bro that sucks similar situation. im going to most likely build some bullshit ramp to make it up driveway. "my neighbors are going to be entertained
I guess that's my fair share of being slammed "driveway horrors" lol

im hoping to slamm this slut as much as i can go with my gc/koni yellow suspension upgrade but problem is my driveway is probly by far one of the worst to drive in with a lowered car, meaning not slammed lowered! so when im slammed whats gona happen, screwed most likely.
need a custom ramp or something

this was on my old shitty ebay coils and those riken i no longer have.
gotta love those driveway pull ins. haha.
no new updates yet but yes im working on it, shit load to do.

You can measure the rear and extend them as much as possible and still keep the plastic covers, since they will be custom made you can make them whatever length you want. If you take them to a metal shop in your town and tell them what you want done, it shouldn't cost much. Probably around $50 I'd guess, they'd just have to cut it and weld in a new piece of metal. Also my Skunk 2 pro series Front UCA's came in too!
Didnt need to order Koni Sports because i already had a used set from a 94 teggy part out which pretty much i got for ZERO dollas

Well I decided to start piecing stuff together today after work not much done because i have doubts in the Ebay tophats that im not sure if i should use or not? If anyone has input on this let me know. Or maybe i should just get Ground Control tops hats and call it a day
The eBay top-hats these bushings that are hella stiff not sure if it will cause me issues. I have pictures on what i mean and also had a question to the people that installed top hats on their suspension. Pictures down below will do the talking because it will take me a while to actually explain on what i mean.

Btw the coils are set to the highest level because i was check them out and set them their so the spring doesnt flop around since they are still no installed. But i will be maxing it out once i put them into the wagon

So my rear suspension set will not have top-hats as seen in the pictures because i dont want the long as hats sticking out of my quarter panel plastic trim, and there is not much stress on the rear end anyway.
My front setup will definitely have top-hats just unsure if i should use these eBay ones?
This is my latest update of my messing around in the shop. Was way tired couldnt stay up to do more cause of last nights "thread reading with all these tight builds people are doing on here on StanceWorks its just addicting haha" amazing shit im telling you guys.
Kinda my build look so small compared to other ones on here.
