    I must admit I forgot to add the photos of the one way check valves I installed to prevent said problems. Could it be possible your friend may have installed them backwards? To me that would be the only plausible way you could create a positive pressure strong enough to damage seals and gaskets.

    That doesn't sound too good... With the open dump out the hood the exhaust shouldn't have much back pressure

    Like it got a crap load if vacuum and blew something out?

    I will just say that stainless is a cruel untrustworthy bitch and loves to move around, even when you think, "that cant possibly move, its sch tubing and so thick" it will move

    Bingo, you have to take advantage of the bits that let you get creative, keeps things fun. It takes a little time and money but anyone can do this kind of stuff its just a process

    If I remember right he's using v-band clamps for all the hot pipes. Since the motor will move on the motor mounts, the turbo is going to want to move the same amount since there won't be any give in the piping.
