Running electrical, mounting various things, and unfortunately not much metal work that is all that has transpired in the last many months since my last update
Seen here is just the tip of what can only be described as a wiring speghetti fest
Making a grounding platform for all those needy electrical devises because electricity is a lazy phenomenon. "oh look at me I am electricity, I can only flow through a path with the least amount of resistance"
This will be riveted to the body aka (earth)
Looks like the engine has a bad hair day
Heat shrink and solder on most everything to keep the corrosion at bay
Have I mentioned how much I love these hoes cutters?
Miles of heat shrink used
Enough of that! Now onto when I mounted the ecu
Aluminum base plate
Snap lock velcro
Little braces to ensure the ecu doesn't shake about the cabin
Nice tight fit
And if that wasn't enough here is some kill switch mounting eye candy
From the back
Final resting place
Some profiling and finessing
Cant forget the bending
Now I am safe with this in arms reach, safety 3rd right?
I really really really want to see and hear it run. That exhaust set up looks fucking beautiful.
And that throttle linkage. Love it. It's the little things. No one will probably even ask if you did that but you know and that makes it awesome to you.
I can't wait till I have a garage, a welder, and plenty more specialty tools. This thread has given me some motivation to learn to fabricate and make some cool stuff this year.
