painters tape doesnt hold on foam. we want to create a perfect surface as possible now to have less work on the final mold!

some 3d shots: http://seene.co/u/markusbruhn/ i love this app!

Wow looks great! Why not use painters tape or aluminum insulation tape, then lay fiberglass?

Ahhh I understand now, You're seeing what is aesthetically pleasing to the you before final casting of any molds are made. I respect that route also.

Why not sheet metal fabrication instead ? seems like a lot more work to do the foam method

merry x-mas, happy new year, happy something and happy shut the fuck up. after all this stuff and an infection of my jaw we war back with some updates.

after mor shaping we tried out the first filler. it really fucked up the foam - so this was one-way street. there you see why.

so we tried out some plaster. okay for the start but not good enough for sanding.

here you can see the different test to get the lines in shape.

however, we were too wide at the end. we had already 10 centimeters track plates under the rim. so we were already wider than the side mirror. when you consider that the rb gt86 kits are "only" 4-6 centimeters wider... in addition it has a further problem: the farther the wheel is outside, the farther it moves forward and backward when steering. so we decide to reduce it a bit. then we got another filler who works perfect for us. smurf sperm.

in the next xs mag (www.facebook.com/xsmag) is an article about the coming up season 2014 in germany where the widebody will be featured - so we take some pictures for it. all mags for free online: http://issuu.com/ristaumedia!

thank you for your interest! more updates also on www.facebook.com/hypetoday!

something like this was on my mind... because i prefer 1-piece. we will see.
