Infiniti J30 touring / Nissan Leopard J. Ferrie / JPY32

I gave my W210 wagon to my father because he deserves better. In light of that situation he traded me his 00 civic POS. I dont like moving down a level of comfort so i was searching high and low for either an Infiniti M30 vert or a Infiniti J30 .


Yesterday, i was eating at Joyees Noodle down by Evanston IL and cracked open a fortune cookie. It read this exact message "A SPECIAL SURPRISE WILL APPEAR FROM THE MOST UNUSUAL PLACE." Low and behold, the good man upstairs (plus the cookie gods) listened to my cries for an infiniti j30 Leopard to appear on Craigslist! The man even wanted to meet up 5 miles away from my house. $900 dollars (YOU READ RIGHT. $900.00 not a penny more) and 10 minutes later, its now in my driveway

I see you like Leopards. They are quirky cars, like the F31 was basically a rounder uglier R31 with IRS and a V6.
I wish they offered the v8 version of the m30 in the US though. The vg30 is too small for the m30 imo.

Dude this is pretty sweet, although this car does weigh 3500+lbs. the last route i would take would be to drift this thing, but ill leave that option open

Yeah man i feel bad letting projects go to waste but it killed me to see my dad work so hard just to drive around a Civic haha! your build inspired me to go get the Analog management and now thats going on the J. Trust me i was actually looking for a W140. but this came up at a once in a lifetime deal. if i didnt pick this up i was on the way to check this out:

My sister has one of these things and I've always wondered if these could look good... I've got a really rough photoshop I did of one somewhere that maybe I can dig out.

It's pretty underpowered, but I got it sideways once, and it slid pretty well :p

I meant J30 in my previous posts, I get the M30 and the J30 confused in terms of naming sometimes. You could save some cash and develop some coilover sleeves before you pull the trigger on those coilovers. You just need to find some sleeves that will fit snugly onto the stock strut/shock though.

I used to be in love with these cars because they are so unique looking, until I saw how small the back seats are. It's like a 300zx 2+2 with rear doors on it hahahah.

the really depressing/inspiring thing about this chassis is that all the great photos of these slammed are all photoshops .

Tomorrow ill take some more detailed photos of this buy. Depressing to find some rear damage in the rear trunk. nonetheless its still $900.

I never even considered the idea that maybe these things could look good until I did my Photoshop, also, when my sister was buying a part for her car, she met a guy who did a manual swap to one, and his didn't look bad. I got the link to a build thread he had, but its been probably a year and a half and I don't have it anymore

^ yeah man i know exactly what you are talking about. he used a Z32 trans and pretty much z32 everything except he needed a custom driveshaft. im def considering it after i drop these coilovers on it.

i guess i can mount these on the seats for now:
