Never have I seen a mk2 'rocco and actually liked it!! Just look perfect!

She's tucked away in my garage, under a cover... only thing I've done this winter to her was changed my shift knob to the matching gold nardi.





Wheels are ready for a re-polish. They'll be taken off this weekend, I also purchased 165/45s to go a little lower , also have a reinforced shortened oil pump & pan to install this winter.
ALONG with a lot more gold parts, accessories and my interior as soon as it's done.


One of the jackets ripped during the stitching process... rather than scrap it, we made a shift boot out of it, and a parking brake boot.


Reason I'm stalling putting all of this stuff in is because I really need to pull the motor to install the engine mounts... If I pull the motor I'm going to redo the bay and polish the transmission... I just think I'm going to hold off on doing this for a little bit.

I started another project.... 24v swap in my mk1 gti. I'm about to make another thread for that project.

I already have a giant restoration in my personal shop that I'm doing for a friend.
Restoring a rusty p1800 volvo, new sills,rockers,fenders,quarters,floors etc.

Also I apologize, I'm really bad at build threads. I don't have an attention span.

Hey guys it's been a while.

This was a fun summer for me... I went to Staggered, Wekfest, H2oi and First Class Fitment. It was awesome to be a part of so many shows this year, I unfortunately didn't make it to the clean culture shows even though I paid for my tickets. Family comes first though. I'm pretty sure I'm going to take a break from carshows for a while, traveling and then spending the entire day there away from my son and wife

I'm pretty sure I'm going to take next year off from shows, and this winter pull the motor and do some things differently.

My original plans with the car were to just paint it, and make it driveable to enjoy it after sitting for so long.... now it's become something I want to make as perfect as I can. I want to reach a goal of mine since I was 15 and that goal is a feature in PVW.
Interior makeover is already in progress, and I plan to redo the engine bay, shaving the bay more, and tucking the tires.

I've already started polishing more parts I really like my wheels, but I'm ready for a change... I like OZ Futuras or BBS RFS.

I haven't really seen much Wekfest East coverage. I don't have any friends so no one takes pictures of my car with a nice camera. I did find this on the S3mag coverage in the part 3
I really like the picture wish I had the high def.

So starting to compile my list of stuff I'll be doing this winter on the car.

I'm going to be starting to slow down on the car, she's an expensive adventure.

Rebuilding my alternator right now.
Pretty sure I'm going to have the case polished.






I went to New Jersey last weekend for a show called Wekfest. My first time, it was a good time. I had a great time, I placed in the event... I didn't expect to win anything nor did I even really want to go, I was nervous.
I placed third in the Euro Category.
