i'm in for more updates! this thing is awesome!

outta curiosity, how did you deal with the front toe - in issue when riding on bags? did you set your alignment based on a specific 'driving' ride height?

As far as the contact spots, do you have room to gently massage the steel with a BFG? (big f@cking hammer)

Try a paint and rust remover wheels, it doesn't mess up the cut like that sanding disc is. They look like this. Pick up both the wire piece and this wheel, you'll most likely find it at a dedicated tool store. The wheel generally looks like this.

                  i love it dude

you may have to swap upper control arms for more clearance. i tried a couple different kinds and i found the Buddy Club P1s are made with more clearance in mind. i think its only like 5mm but they make a difference.

my old ones hit the same places yours do but then i switched and now they only hit right beside the strut. kinda on the inside of the ball joint plate

I have not actually dealt with that as of yet -_-
I do plan on getting it aligned to my driving height. Just never had it done yet... I know shame on me!

Awesome, thanks bro! Figured the AS thread is more about the build details and here will be about the "stance"

Just gotta commit brah! I figured I'd cut 3 sides so I'll only need to get those voids welded in and retain some of the stock tower. lol

i tool a propane torch like such: And the RTV seems to just "laugh" at it by changing color to white but not actually melting or going anywhere. :|

I've considered... just been too lazy and without time to remove the suspension components and go ham with a baby sledge.

I actually have one, but it doesn't fit my air drill (which is too slow anyway) and going through batteries on the cordless sucks. Just gotta head to Harbor Freight and find a cheapy corded one.

Fer shizzle. I traded some Buddy Club wheels for the RS' before knowing the labor required to refurb these things. Maybe should have held out and found a cleaner set. I still have to get these redrilled anyway. Can anyone recommend a shop to redrill? preferably local to souther colorado?

Yea, think I might switch back to the OEM adjustables or the OEM ones.

Small victory today, finally got one wheel separated. Picked up a handy dandy corded drill from Walmart today and attacked a wheel with these:

Then had to get a bit creative to separate the lip from the face and barrel.

                      Ta-da!

Long time no update. Still slowly working on taking the BBS' apart... =|

Been working on boosting it though.

Since its not stance related more of the boost build can be found here:

Thanks! It's a slow build but getting there!

Thank's dude! Saw your Saturn build and following your hatch build! Handling on the Air Lift bags is good! They have adjustable shock dampening settings which is nice compared to my old F&F Type 1's. I can't really tell too much of a difference between bags and coils. Combined with a Type R rear sway bar and the right dampening settings I feel the steering is more neutral vs understeering. I just love the ability to change ride height vs. coils. And apparently Air Lift feels their suspensions are trackable. You've probably seen their videos of Subaru's, Mustangs, Nissan's and VW's on a race track.
