so i decided that since its so snowy and cold out i'll just have to wait until it warms up to get anything else done on this heap. For now its fine, im just going to be stacking parts so that I can install them all at the same time, and then get driving.

I really miss driving this thing. I mean, the van i drive now is really nice. but still absolutely zero fun to drive.

    so i got these:

240s have the hood pop wire through the wheel well, mine is pulled so tight that popping my hood is super hard and inconsistent, sometimes i pull the lever and nothing happens at all. so thats why i got these hood pins, to get rid of that wire because im pretty sure i've rubbed through it.

    visited the car today

spent a while brushing snow off of it, hands are frozen. and then, whammy. starts to snow again.
    heres a daylight pic

also, an update on my brakes. I have everything needed except the actual pads and rotors, which will be ordered before christmas. feels cool.

30mm z32 brakes, Stainless steel lines, R32 Master cylinder i got from steve. feelsgoodman.

haha the real reason was because i know im going to break them one day, and backing screws out is alot easier than drilling out rivets!!!

    +1 for logic and techmology

    It didn't burn down yet!!!

    Installed the outers today.

and by installed i mean i got distracted and stood around and watched while steve installed them for me. its ok though, i made him a cool video.

then finally put my car on four wheels for the first time in a what feels like forever. been waiting for this moment for a while!!

shitty photo, i know. it was getting dark. but you get the point, The alignment in the rear is pretty weird right now, i haven't touched toe and the one wheel has positive camber... or maybe its zero. I dont know. not possible to really tell without a bubble level. The extended LCA pushed the wheel out alot, and its sitting quite close to the fender, so im pretty excited about that. I haven't had a chance to test out the rear fenders yet.
Also I got new skirts, and they fit perfectly!! Super stoked on them. I am yet to actually get any good photos of them, but I got them off my buddy Brad for a steal, so I sold my old ones to basically break even buying the new ones. (They look identical just fit nicer)

Heres a closer shot of the front fitment

Also heres a before photo of my steering lock.

stock inners with SPL outers, so I get a bit more angle but nothing serious yet. When I get rack spacers and Z33 inners i'll have a bit more.

Thanks for reading guys. Car hasn't burned down yet.

heres steves race car for next year which is cool

    emptied my friggin wallet again

SPL outers, because ovalizing heim joints is no fun
and FINALLY stainless steel conversion lines for my Z32s!! Might treat myself to some pads and rotors

also got an r32 master, but I did not grab a photo of that.

got some things done. The lower control arms have been extended

30mm by my friend Mitch. Does awesome work.
then he was nice enough to paint them for me

then i got bored of lying on my back 24/7 and doing shitty stuff, so i started a little side project for myself, and thats to fit an FC wing to the trunk.

If i chop the stands off in the middle and grind down the inside edge, the wing should sit flush

see what i mean? if i grind down the inside edge it'll sit flush, since the trunk has an upsweep

then i installed the front lower control arms, could only hook up the tie rods on one side

thats the suspension full droop, i haven't yet lowered the car.

and heres how it sits now.

yeah so got the rear subframe back in, alignment is out of control

but whatever, doesn't matter, im not driving the car till spring so it doesnt matter. pulled the front lower control arms to add 30mm to them for more camber and poke in the front.

going to do rack spacers, altima inners and stock outers with a nut welded to them for more adjustment. anyway heres a shot of where the rear wheels sit compared to stock body now, with (what looks like) zero camber.
