hahaha thanks for the comments! yeah i didnt water it down, but i let the car sit in the sun a ton and its dried pretty well... it does take long to dry though. i've managed to get a few coats on some panels that need them, sanding between each. im really just experimenting right now, seeing what works and what does not. trying different types of rollers, grits of sandpaper etc etc. in a week or so im going to wet sand, buff and polish the whole car and see how it looks.








assuming i make it through the drift event this saturday

I would kill to have my car drift ready, but e28s are so picky with everything that deals with air to fuel :///

There was a guide somewhere on how to use a paint roller for a car. You needed to water the paint down a ton with mineral spirits, but if you wet sanded between each of the 8 coats you came out with some show quality pant on the cheap. Like that's a legit tactic. lol

Painting technique pls..

i sanded it and then used a paint roller to roll paint it hahahahhaha it looks pretty bad, because i had to drive it so soon after. but it goes on thick enough to shine without any real work to it. im going to wet sand the car to 800 and then buff and clear it after a few more coats. one thing i will say is to use a foam roller hahahah. i didn't and have to redo alot of the car. not a big deal, since it only takes 10 minutes. but still.
