I too have an 88 Alpine White IS. Been contemplating shadow lining. But these pictures definitely push me to get off my butt and do it.

I haven 't read up in these coilovers specifically so it may be addressed elsewhere but what are you doing for camber adjustment? How much adjustment do you still have in the coils?

Fronts have camber plates. Like I said above coils have sooooo much room to go haha.

Alright so tiny update, nothing much for right now.


Over the past month there have been some problems here and there -____-
This happened first, the nut that hold the hub on randomly fell off as I was driving to school in the morning.




That sucked but I sorted it out a couple days later.




Next up is the problem that's still here :/ … the car is having rough idling sporadically, it'll be fine one minute and then next it's at 1500 and when I try to give it gas too quickly it stumbles like crazy and under load loses power and bogs badly. It's not a major vacuum leak cause I smoke tested it (I replaced the ICV with a newer cause I thought that was the problem but nope still there)

Turns out the exhaust manifold is completely blown and there is no 02 sensor. I think that's what is fucking it up big time since Motronic runs closed loop, so since the ECU isn't getting a signal from the 02 it's running on a pre-determined tune? It's probably all confused and what not. It's super annoying sometimes. Still trying to work on it but don't want to spend too much money since there is going to be a new engine in the car
