    I got these today

They're a Galant GSR item, 15x6.5 +42, so they should sit nicely, or I'll make them.. With spacers... And sledgehammers

Well I test fitted the rims today, not quite as I imagined them to sit but I can fix it, only 8-10mm off just tucking the guard

They also look smaller on this than the Mirage they came off of

Tyres soon then I'll cut the spare springs I have to get an idea of the height then order proper springs/shocks
                Then sort out the gap

I saw this today and thought of you..

the foggies were cracked but they were cool, the covers flipped up.

as you can see, if you need parts there's a few cars in Sydney.

Wish we still had heaps of BFs at our pick a part, hardly see one good enough to even take parts from

So I haven't done much really except pull the manual conversion out of my other KC for it and install the manual pedal box, see my Instagram for lols

But I got bored and did this

Chalkboard paint, sitting in my garage with its final coat and I'm so excited for it to be ready for all my mates to draw penises all over it :/ lol

I also may have got my hands on some roof racks, short ones, I got an idea...

And cheers for the thoughts guys haha our local U Pull Its don't have a whole lot of BF goodies either

Well the bonnet turned out okay, and I've sourced another in the same colour for when I feel like having a shiny one

My son and I had some fun with it thismorning

Then with the Laser next to it I decided the white 14's could be a good temp wheel while I save for the new tyres on the 15s

They're filthy now but clean up well, still undecided on 'em

I'll get the other springs out of the parts car this week and give it some much needed lows and I've found some racks for it

                                I'm doing this for me.

So. It's been well over a year since I updated this, I sort-of took a break from cars.. I don't know why, I wasn't over it, I didn't have to.. I just lost motivation.. It's a horrible thing not knowing what to do, where to start, what you want as the final result.. So I just shut everything up in my shed and left it there.

                                Until recently

                                Enter the Laser 'Percy'

I bought this car three and a half years ago after a 4AGE AE93 Corolla I was looking to buy fell through and I needed a car to get home, I was 150ks from home and it was like 6:30 at night, my mate found this on Gumtree for $650 and they answered thier phone so we went and looked at it and got it for $500

Long story short in the coming year this car became like family to me, I had some of the toughest times in my life and it was always there, never failed, never complained.. Even the night it died leaving work from the keyway on the crank snapping and causing the timing to fubar itself.. after about half an hour of tinkering with the carb and distributor timing it ran so I could get home.. In fact.. It died as I pulled into my driveway

I couldn't just scrap it.. So in the shed it sat

I've had ever evolving plans for it but nothing really struck my fancy 100%.. Basically just what others told me I should do to it.

But recently something snapped in my head and I got an influx of motivation.

The Mazda has a fine engine that's the same, it also has rear discs and power steering along with a brilliant interior, but it doesn't feel anywhere near the same to me as Percy.. So really it was a no-brainer

Motor out was easy, apart from all the vacuum hoses to EPA things..

Also, not having a concrete floor is hard, but solved with rope and a bullbar (Don't try this, it's seriously dumb.)

So that's about where I'm up to.. Because I have a car in the way of my shed that's in the way and finding someone to come and take it.. For free.. Seems impossible

But that's the Works, now to the stance

                                Enter the Impul R701s 15x6.5 +31 and +12

The rears will just tuck with love applied to the rear guards.. Literally just

In theory the fronts will be good too, but 8mm spacers will fix them if they're not

Currently on the hunt for coilovers, nobody makes them for FWD Lasers but the AWD TX3 shares a lot, so they should work with the FWD top hats

I have other things in the works too that I will reveal later.. But that's the jist of it for meow.
