Live update #2 - I **** everything and want to die. F*ck wiring, seriously.. it can die a horrific death. its midnight, the rum has made me mad and Blink 182, somehow, has left me cranky. I can tell this is doing damage to my mental health if it's turning me against Blink 182 (something i thought impossible).

I honestly applaud any automotive sparky, you clever masochistic bastards, haha. To make a career out of this you'd have to have the patience of a monk and the finger dexterity of a lesbian. I simply can't hold everything well enough to solder and shit.

/end rant (for now), time to go to sleep. maybe have a crack at it again tomorrow if the sight of mess i've made tonight doesn't leave me feeling so angry i could vomit.

Haha! Try holding one wire with a small pair of vice grips or something so it won't move. Then you have two free hands.

The car looks snazzy with the chin spoiler though!

Take a cap from a rattle can, cut two slots with a pair of tin snips, insert wires to be soldered:

For bonus points, stick it to your workbench with a screw or hot glue or something.

There is no rule that you need pants when working on a car! it's just a courtesy to your wang that you don't get it all greasy and shit. haha

You and me both, i firmly believe some people just have a knack for it, i just think i have a knack for finding a way to actually die playing around with electrics that shouldn't be able to kill someone. :P

Today was super productive, had a few mates over, cooked up a barby had the tunes crankin' and got stuck into removing the motor and changing the front bushings.

Also i got some new wheels for super cheap, some unknown 14x7 -0 meshies

Couldn't replace LCA bushings because for some reason the cheeky rascals didnt wanna come out, will tackle that one when i can access a hoist (after registration). for the time being, i'll attempt wiring again later this week.

Many thanks to Blaise and Jason for their life saving help and many dick jokes today.

On the lower control arm bushings its easiest to torch the rubber out then take a hacksaw or buzzsaw if you have air and cut a slit into the outside metal. After you do that it should pop right out.
