Hey I just noticed this, but where do I find an intake like this? I've been looking to change my housing out and using this piece and start making one out of aluminum.Originally posted by TheGarageLife View Post
And then also where do you get that hose to connect the PCV valve amd the crankcase to the breather since this intake is further away than the original?[/QUOTE]
Well i just had stuff laying around, the part on the intake, is from my Rabbit cis intake. the pipe is from ebay that i had on my old mk3 2.0l and the hose is a rad hose from my Rabbit. and the filter i had laying around, its a old one from my sisters TC haha.

Correct, But you don't have to reinforce it. Yellow speed makes a set to do the full coil conversion. Only thing is there camber plates are a little thicker. If there using factory mounts then yea you would have to do something because they suck. Thats why i did the camber plates.Originally posted by w201e34 View PostLooks good man, what people were mentioning earlier about strength is that the strut towers of the 190e were not designed to handle the stress of having a spring and a strut pressure there. People who do the e36 coil conversion usually reinforce the strut tower.
Also, if you do a drive train swap I will buy that trans and flywheel setup off you. I've been looking for that flywheel for a long time. Feel free to pm me and let me know.
Good job with the car!
But yea! ill most deff sell ya the whole factory 5 speed set up. I am not sure how much they go for. i guess offer me something and we can go from there
But thanks man!
