Well if you go air. You might not get enough rear lift. But they go low haha. Really ya just gotta play around with it. But the the coils bolt on. I had to make the top hole on the strut bigger to line up with the hub.Originally posted by TheGarageLife View PostDamn, definitely something to consider though if I'm going to go air. And as far as the front goes you just slapped on the Raceland coils for the E36? Did you have to make any major modifications? Besides the camber plates.

But you can use corvette shocks and mustang shocks I think. Just look into first.

Update.. Nothing, Haven't had much time to mess with it, Still needs a lot of work. Its running like shit, I think its a fuel issue (cis is the devil) I don't know. Makes me mad just thinking about it.
But at least is nice to look at haha

Yup! Pretty much did a whole conversion. The plates give me a bearing. ill be using top grade hardware to mount it all in. and since the plates are mounted from the bottom. it should have plenty of strength. The spring rates work perfect for the w201s. Its way safer than running the e36 coils with factory mounts like some people do.Originally posted by Twannnd View Postwhoah! so nice mate!
question: You have removed the spring and placed a coilover on the same place the shock goes? Are those mounting points strong enough too handle the extra forces created by putting a coilover there?
