    whoah! so nice mate!

question: You have removed the spring and placed a coilover on the same place the shock goes? Are those mounting points strong enough too handle the extra forces created by putting a coilover there?

But I'm sure there isn't much travel, there maxed out and no bump stops lol.ill put a half stop in... I haven't looked yet.tomorrow I'm going to go through it all and see whats up.. But yea thats why i did the camber plate deal so i could have a bearing and as well for camber, but yea i wouldn't trust the factory mounts. i broke mine taking the strut bolts off. but some people run the full coil with the factory mounts, brave people haha

But it is my goal to make it work, because it looks so crazy and iv never seen a static w201 this crazy
Brave people indeed. Hey if you can make it work more power to ya. I know most of the guys that get that low up front static are basically riding the bump stops. If only the front solutions were as easy as the rear. DinanDave had like quarter inch plates welded to the towers. Had his pics on my old phone thats long gone. Compared to a car that runs a true coilover the 190 mounts look wimpy with that huge hole in the middle lol.

How much strut travel do you have in the fronts? E36 struts are only an inch shorter than stock unless the racelands are shorter than stock e36? I was thinking about running e36 struts with a r129 raised strut mount, but with that camber plate I'm afraid the strut would bust through the tower when you bottom out. I prefer the spring in the stock location just because I dont trust that strut tower to hold without reinforcement.
