So it seems, after so much time, i can finally find free time to show you some updates of my daily project. Really sucks that there is so much limited free time from work, to be honest, but oh well.

A quick snap of the .:R pedals

And then, came this.



Something new I wanted to test for quite some time now





It is a GTX3076 from Garrett. Nothing you havent seen before, but something I wanted to test on my daily.







Old 4in filter from Audi was looking tired





So in came the new one





Then fabricated some v-band gaskets and some oil return ones as well







Then Tom drilled a hole, and threaded it, in the compressor housing for boost signal





What is more, this turbo also had water cooling compared to the PTE, so lines had to be made as well





Almost ready for installation



So let's get this



And go under



After everything was in place, the downpipes were pretty similar, of the gtx and pte, so i decided to drive the car to the exhaust shop, since i hardly had any exhaust leak to be honest.

While at it, i also added a second muffler to reduce some low rpm drone

Then it was testing time And boy did I like it . . .

And there was something else too, hiding under the dash here, that I always wanted to remove anyways

Out came what was left of my center console





Reminds me of Audi days



Burst mode on my Defi's







Oh well more work to do

Let's take this side apart as well



And done



And then made it somewhat better in order to drive it everyday



Even made a bracket for the light switch with zipties- lol

Looking really good. I actually really like the boost gauge location. Cool that it's preferrated as well to allow cool/warm air through. Nice touch refurbing the dash as well. Everything looks top notch.
