So ordered some nice stuff from the stealership

    OEM Audi TT-RS LPFP

The new rubber grommet, shows the hp this pump is capable of, LoL

Got to work to install this beauty

Entered the car via the trunk LoL

    Found my way inside

    Kinda filthy

    OCD kicked in

    Access

    Side by side

    Modified the sender bracket

Installed new rubber grommet (not needed to be honest but i did)

    Installed

Then closed everything and moved to the engine bay

Installed and connected the N75 to raise up the boost - car was running on mechanical spring boost so far (20psi).

Then we went for a custom tune from Tom and some tests

There he is making a new file for another run

40psi brings happiness to my face

    Cheers more to come

    Mike

So I have been very busy with work, but i think I found some time to update this . Sorry for the iphone photos mostly but will do the work for now.

Got these two remaining parts from the trim shop

    Threw them on

Then, we go back to my exhaust theme on the golf.

Remember I had installed a new muffler, more OEM+ style some months ago? Well days after that, I re-installed my JDM one, and left that one there.
What is more, I sold the other muffler, almost like new, it got sold instantly over at ebay.

So now, after installing back my interior, I thought- once more, I want the same muffler back on my car, and ditch the JDM which catches the wrong attention too much. After all, I can hear the external wastegate pipe scream whenever I wish.

So, some pics of the process, which might look familiar.

Car went up on the ramp

    Exhaust came out

    Started test-fitting

    Test fitting the pipes.

Again went for the OEM E30 style pipes, just a tad bigger

I had some company with me while i was there

    Final product

    Very pleased with the result.

More to come, and maybe some new orders

    Cheers

    Mike

I had written a huge post explaining all the procedure of today's 12hr work on my day off from work, give or take.

And then google chrome decided to crash, maybe because of it new logo, I dont know.

So here are just the pics, without words, sorry for that.

[Lucky I did not break my laptop, LoL]

    Weapons

    Start dissasembly

    A-Pillars removed

Time for the tricky part - boring as well - column stuff off to give clearance.

    Out it went

    Pile of parts

    Started putting things back

    Driver lower dash

    Looking good

    Dirty parts

    Got cleaned and dressed

    Defi controller installed

    GLovebox installed

Started tackling the center console which is not so fun

Been some time since i removed these parts and hardly remembered what went where, but got there

Then I had to leave the camera down, as I was losing daylight and put more work

Put everything back an hour ago, some details left, and then a proper photoshoot hopefully. This came out even better from what I had imagined.

And if you see it live, it is really something else, I tell you.

    More to come

    Regards Mike

Got me some RS3 / TT-RS front bushings

    And finally

I think it's about time I started installing the trimmed interior on the golf

Hell of a project to say the least.

    Cheers more to come
