    Thanks!

Plans for exterior are fenders, projector retroed JDM head lights, face lift JDM grill, kouki vr4 bumpers and side skirts, big wing, some sort of led retro into JDM tail lights, I also want to do something with the hood but need to get a scrap hood first.

So a little incident happened. I had my friend pop the timing cover off to get a bolt that fell in there. He got the bolt out and I asked him to check around to make sure there was nothing else. Well he missed a nut which destroyed my timing on the first crank. Couple chunks and tears are all on the belt.

Sorry for the dim lit potato pic

Great build. Thought I'd pop a comment here after seeing that you had the nut/belt issue. Check all of your gears now. If that nut damaged any teeth, that damage will put excess wear into the new belt. I don't know if you have clearance when the belt lets go, but if these engines mash pistons into valves, it might be worth replacing any damaged gears with new parts...

Sorry to hear about the nut situation.

Thanks for the concern and input. The cam gears are fine but I haven't had a chance to check the bottom pulley. I have a spare one just in case when I replace the belt I'll look. It did also crack part of the timing cover but I will get a new one later with probably a zaklee clear cover or a carbon fiber.

            Big Update
Put a new timing belt on. Started the car. Drove it about 5 miles total so far. It needs to be tuned asap. Working with English Racing on that.

Been working on the car here and there. On the second revision of the tune, many more coming. Its needs an alignment bad and the rear fenders rolled tons more.

Current state of the interior. Getting a dash in the coming weeks so I can put my new headunit in. Exhaust, and random rattles gets real old to drive with.

I put leds in the dome lights and loved them for the minute it was in there.

Smoke poured out everywhere. Gotta love chine led junk.

New headunit and roller. One of these days ill get around to rolling the fenders getting it aligned and slammed back down.

Definitely gonna subscribe to this build, the mean look of this generation galant is on of my favorites. I like how you went from having it, tearing it down and rebuilding
                it back up.

As always it has been awhile. Got a bunch of parts in, broke some parts, ect.

But I am on the homestretch now to be in line to make it to h2oi.

Finished the battery box in the trunk

                    120amp breaker

And my favorite mod to date. APR GT3 mirrors with carbon mounting plates made by me.

also shows my new front fenders Thanks again Anas!

Loomed up some of my wiring while the trans is out

Also bought a tig machine. I have a crack on my transmission to repair and an exhaust on this as well..

But as of now I am broke, and going into my last semster. So all of the parts I have been hoarding will be going on in the next month. Hopefully with a wrap job.

Shaved down the control arm bushing before class today. The prothane one has a 10mm IIRC bigger diameter than stock and obviously no grooves. It is intended for the later style control arms.
