So I bought Matt Waln's E38 to replace my E30 M3 as I have always loved the body style and with a family now I wanted something I could enjoy with the whole family.
Here is what the car looked like:

Unfortunately when I got the car, it looked like this:

It had a dead battery, LOTS of dents, missing side trim, a massive oil leak, and the passenger side skirt was falling off.....
Needless to say, it wasn't in the condition I was expecting but no reason to bitch and moan about it.... just gotta make it right.
Plan is to
1. Do a small amount of audio and some DVD screens
2. 19x10 and 19x12 built HRE 542 wheels (one of my favorites of all time)
3. Cinnamon E46 M3 front seats and rear seats dyed to match
4. Fix some exterior dents and scratches
5. Smooth and tuck the engine bay
6. Alcon 8 pot front BBK
7. Did I mention the car will get a 6.0L built LS1 wih Patriot heads. Mated with a 6 speed T56???

MERICA! Fuck ya
So, here is where I stand now:
I have the engine, motor mounts, engine mount, custom oil pan, transmission, and accessory kit.... still need quite a few parts for this but my whole goal was to get the car on the ground sitting right before I start the engine swap. I have also ordered a new fog light to replace the busted one and the lower trim on the rear door.
So on to wheels/tires. Here is where I started: 19x8.5 +48... weak as fuk. They were BRAND SPANKING NEW and never opened when I got them. Not bad for wheels built 10+ years ago. A guy bought 3 sets and never mounted this set. Talk about good timing.

Parts coming in: New 4" front lips and 5" rear lips and smaller front barrels. I also had the back pads shaved 5mm.

Mount me

Unfortunately, the tire shop couldn't get my Feddy 245/35 tires to stretch over the 12" rear wheels. The 595SS run 10mm wide so they are basically a 255 but they couldn't get them to pop so I ordered some 265/30 which actually arrived today so I should have some mounted pictures next week.
For now, here is a tease of sorts.

Figured on running 15mm spacers to clear the front brakes so they fit perfectly. I love them.
I will keep it up to date
