sooo unfortunately I am currently on the waiting list for the illmotion show, hopefully I can squeeze in. anyhow somehow during my daily (and unhealthy) search for wheels that are rad and would fit my car I stumbled across a set of slot mag wheels and had to have them...

im thinking of either polishing them or painting them some sort of gunmetal grey or flat black.

they are roughly the same offset as my current wheels but slightly wider and the backs poke a little more.

    current specs 15' x 6.5 12et
new set 14 x 7 and 14 x 8 roughly the same et.... back sticks out almost and inch more

mocked them up to see how theyd look. and it was as if the bosozoku gods themselves where telling me to do it...

unfortunately to get the wheels to sit like this i'll need to go lower. hopefully i can find someone local to make drop forks for the fronts, and i'll tackle the job of making custom drop lca's for the rear. time to make it really squat

till next time guys. keep being boss ass bitches

(and i mean that in the least offensive way possible.... honestly i just needed an excuse to use that gif)

Thanks! Wish it had nice paint, Need to polish the tail lights, but the paint is beyond saving. It's got random spray paint patches all over it and lots of scratches, that and a major amount of bodywork is still required.

Correcto! We just ain't care about that. Apparently a d16y7 with the d15b2 carbs and electronics can make 5mpg in an ef though. In a way it might actually be better

Also tested out the chalkboard paint today. Great success, I like

Nah, it's just the tires, fronts are season old 185/45r15 and the rears are new 195/45r15. Should have slightly more sidewall in the back which I believe accounts for the .25" difference. Should all be sorted out once I make some drop forks and custom rear lca's. Thanks though!

Sorry man, didn't realize this had been bumped. as for clearances my jack point up front is 1.25" to the ground and the rear jack point is 1.5" off the ground (jack point as in the little piece of metal that hangs just below the sideskirt thats supposed to be used as a jack point but nobody does cause its stupid) I havent cut holes in my towers yet, currently thats stopping me from going lower, also I havent notched anything for axles and such. I think you may already be at my height, or just pretty damn close!

Canada, where weird is totally acceptable thanks however, definitely explains a lot of things I was trying to understand on honda tech.

    Thanks man! I apreciate it

its always a pleasure to speak with someone who is also fluent in gif.

and since I'm bumping this anyhow I might as well dump some new pics. Managed to find a nice spot and take some potato grade photos with my microwave

I also got some 3m wrap just for a trial. liked the color but absolutely could not get past the weird reflection/haziness of the finish. It just looked off to me, so I'll be continueing doing it chalkboard for now

And I scored at the junkyard, got a megan racing header (which i plan to wrap with black header wrap) as well as some jap stainless steel catback for 40$

as well I got a racing rad for 25$ for when i starting tucking and cleaning up the bay. Half rads FTW!!!
