still waiting on headlights to show up. tracking finally went through so they are scheduled for Wednesday. took a few crap phone photos. need to get some real ones soon.
been wanting to go lower lately. the control arms and pan are already ground flat at this height. so basically, all the fins on the m50 pan are gone. realllly need to stop being lazy and put my plate on. wanna go an inch or so lower than this soon.

also, my sister has been getting into the car thing so she ordered some racelands and dropped it. had to raise it from the initial height because of the axle bind and tire rub but this will do for now. wish e34/e28 suspension was this easy to install due to the welding and shit.

Yeah, Its nice how simple VW suspension is, will probably have an electrical issue soon enough though haha. Thats awesome that your sister is getting into cars, its a rare thing.

Only think I'm concerned about is more low. I kind of want that tucked look in the front going on. They are 15 et 10's with a 25mm spacer, that's a lot of poke! I was thinking about an 8.5 et 15 with a 25mm in the front and 10" 20mm in the rear. 195/40 in the front, and 215 or 225/40 in the rear.

Yeah for sure. 15 might be hard to tuck due to the clearance if the pan. I have 205/40 front and at this height i have just over an inch of pan clearance. I feel like an 18 would be comfortably tucked away. i feel like a 10 could tuck with stretch and a slight fender pull

Yeah, also thinking of picking up my buddies wheels. He runs 18x9's all around and tucks rear easily, front is pretty damn close too.

yeah rear is easy. thats what im at on 17s. 18s would be real easy on the front with the right size tire!

This is the type of front fitment I am trying to get with an 8.5. I know the car is bagged... but the so not as much tuck, but somewhere close to it. You think it's possible with 8.5s in the front?

yeah dude i loveeee that car. definitely possible. just need rubber band tires to run that tuck look. im on a 40 series and would need to go smaller just to lower the front of my car more. you can get that though with an 8.5 for sure

                        • finally got the lights in the mail. really happy with the condition this time around. no surprises with mess ups. the front at this point is where i want it. maybe a little lower if new wheels happen soon but need to address the mismatched grill and hood as soon as i can.
