Not much to update with this, but a few things coming along soon.

Collected an SR20 at the weekend, drove the whole day with a mate to drop one SR off and pick this new one up. Good spec etc.

Got it out of my friends van, into my car, straight to another mates to store it. My friend noticed this:

      Inspected it to find this:

      GT28R fucked.

The guy I bought the engine from swapped the motor with someone else. It's that guy who appears to have done the damage. For a guy that breaks cars for a living, checking turbos is. Quite significant I would have thought.....

Anyway, there's no okay at all so I just have to find a new comp wheel to get it all back together. Or sell it and buy a Kinugawa TD06!

I have sold the S14 Ganador mirrors to free up some funds. Getting some R32 Ganador copies with indicators built in. Straight fit and not bad looking, super cheap too which is always a bonus.

Kind of put a deposit on a new shell too....

It's originally black and much better condition than mine. Been undersealed and everything.

The plan is to pay the rest off by Christmas, pick it up, get it in my mates garage and start work!

      Plans:
      - paint all kit factory black including smooth over filler recess and relocate the filler neck inside the car
      - tub rear arches nicely, get a lip built so that any delam isn't going so smash my nice wings
      - paint the engine bay
      - keep the S13 interior for a while. I need heaters and stuff as it's winter! Eventually get the wiring sorted to run S15 clocks and then fit the S15 dash in the future

The new shell comes with type X rear lights which is a bonus. It's on a private plate which should be worth something, so I'll be selling that and putting the new shell on the old reg. I will hopefully have my wheels polished too so when it's back together it'll be like a brand new car!

Found this the other week too. It looks so high!

Pictures of new shell, still with its current wheels and stuff on. All my stuff will be going on/in this one eventually. The car has a private registartion plate which I have had a quote on, I can sell it for almost what I'm paying for the shell and lights, so almost free clean shell, winner.
