    Ok guys- a few updates:
Added some stripes to the skirts to draw contrast away from the different shades of white.

Next up, made a lip out of flexible garden liner. Didn't turn out too great, but its a good V1.

    Then painted it white

Then I thought i broke down while I was giving someone a ride whose car had broken down.
Turns out I was out of gas but my fuel sender is broken so the gauge reads dead empty all the time in my defense

This is how my tires looked so I figured getting new ones was probably a good idea

And of course they couldn't get my car on the lift so I had to jack it up and take the wheels off in the parking lot

Then the rubber exhaust hanger in the rear tore in half. Luckily I had some speaker wire and zip ties in my car..

And, most importantly, Olga with a fellow brick

Got the side skirts painted- unfortunately white doesn't match with 33 year old what-used-to-be-white.

Might get some beige paint and try to blend it more..

And I changed the in tank pump/filter/line and this thing PULLS now, no more cutting out/ missing.

Was chasing this issue for a while: posting on forums, changing out parts,

test driving and trying to isolate the issue, etc- glad its taken care of.

My mom made me toss the other sideskirts I was working on. She moved, and asked if I "really needed those things"..
well it turns out I did, and so this time I looked for the lowest hanging sideskirt I could find at the pick n pull, regardless of make/model they came off of.

Settled on e46 skirts ($50 total) as they are straight across the top, are around the right length, and hang decently low. Car finally looks as low as it actually is from the side. Gonna paint them white and use rivets vs the zipties on there right now. It's coming along. Fuel pump kit, ignition cap/rotor, and injector seals are on the way via mail so I'll start trying to fix the misfire problem.

After new tires and an alignment I picked the Volvo up and any time it would get into boost (mid-full throttle)
it would start bucking, jerking, and misfiring. So I had to barely gas it to get anywhere.

Engine needs Air (which likely isn't the problem if the car runs), Spark (likely not the problem since
I already cleaned the plugs and checked all connections) and Fuel (suspected this was the culprit).

Since I thought fuel was the issue I got some fuel system cleaner and added that to a full tank of gas. Took her for a
drive and noticed slight improvement, and then swapped out fuel filters. The drive with the new filter made her feel
like a new car. Pulls hard to 12psi now. Pretty frustrating, but playing Doctor feels good when you can actually
fix something haha. Olga's back on the road, and driving like a brand new, 33 year old car!!

Picked the car up from the shop yesterday- needs new tires and alignment BAD.
The shop fucked up the toe when they put on some roll steer correctors and didn't adjust back within any kind of spec.
My wheels were facing like this \ / and so they were screeching as I drove straight down the road.
Pretty sketch drive actually, so I parked it at the nearest tire shop. Should be good to go today.

Performance plans include: +Holset HY35 +B21F intake manifold +IPD turbo cam and +4 additional fuel injectors
running on a separate e85 tank/pump and controlled by microsquirt. Then 20-25psi and hope for 200-250whp

Stance plans include: threaded rear perches, lower in the rear, fender flares, and some wide ass wheels all around.

Not much has happened with the car since the datsun has become my main project.

    Recent developments though:

Wishbone bushings/inner tie rods replaced (they got really messed up and there was a TON of play in the steering/front suspension)

IPD skid plate ordered- the crossmember itself is actually wearing down and want to stop this before it needs replacing

Kaplhenke steer roll correctors being shipped

This was the car getting towed- last time they refused to even come out to my car when I said it was lowered so I waited until the guy got there for him to find out.. He wasn't exactly thrilled
