Mine started out as 17x8 ET39(going to end up as 9's and 10.5's) which seems to be a somewhat common size, not that they are a common wheel by any means, but I've seen a few sets in that sizing. Also 17x8 ET32 is another size I've seen a couple of sets in......would either work on the mini? Problem is, they only run a stepped 1in lip in those sizes, so no dish at all.

I follow your thread on MU and it looks really great. Love when little things tie the wheels to the car like the center caps. It's a shame that they were stolen. I am scared for the same thing for mine. Those Breytons are beautiful. I actually was looking at a set a few months back but opted out because they were too aggressive to run for my r53. They'd look amazing on your car.Last edited by E30R53; 08-19-2013, 02:16 PM.

looks awesome man definitely dig the stripe removal and really dig the wheel set up now but the Breytons too. Your car has been a continued inspiration for my R53 since i talked to you about offset on MU and NAM. I thought you had VMAXX before though??? how do you like air ride compared to the Vmaxx? Also, you said that airride was making a set up for 2nd gens --- but also 1st gens?

R53-0131, thanks man! I did have Vmaxx coilovers before when I was really low, then I had BC Coilovers and now I have Air Ride. I love air compared to any set of coilovers I've had. Rides amazing and handles just like my coilovers did. They currently make a kit for mini coopers but they do require modification.
