very interesting choice of platform, personally i think it would be really cool on some old school JDM wheels, super wide Equip 01's would be my choice

I've thought about trying to put yellow film over them but I'm afraid it'll look green since the actual glass is blue...I'll definitely do something about them soon though. Yeah I **** seat covers but I want a really nice set of seats that are out of my budget now so I figured if I'm gonna have to rock the seat covers, I'd put in the time and find a good set online.Originally posted by rice4life View PostGet some yellow lamin-x for those fogs.
The car is definitely unique, I actually like it. Thats the only car I've also ever seen with seat covers that match the interior, and not some stupid flame design, or crazy yellow.
Haha yeah I'm more of an import guy myself. I was forced to learn about fox body fords after buying this car but that's the extent of my blue oval knowledge.Originally posted by CrackerTeg View PostWell I'll be damned. See? I'm not versed in the blue oval.
I did like the aluminum finish too but like I said, they were wayy too far gone (though you can't really tell in the pictures). I did a paintchop and I'd have to say I agree with you on the chrome. 18's should tuck nicely but I'd rock 17's. I'm just looking to snatch up the first nice wheels I can find for a good deal.Originally posted by SheaMoose View PostI love that last picture.
I liked the wheels more before you painted them.
Don't black out the trim, it looks classy chrome.
18's are going to be huuggeee.
But I 100% agree on keeping the 2.3 turbo. I've seen those motors make 500hp on a stock bottom end (they don't last forever when pushed that hard) but then if you build a bottom end you can make insane numbers.
It's really unique, so why would you want to take that away by putting a 5.0 in it?
You've done well so far.
I really like this.
As for the 2.3....I don't mind the engine and I will put some money in universal mods like meth, standalone ECU, and a turbo but I'm not going to get too attached to the engine. A twin turbo'd 5.0 is my dream and goal. Thanks for the interest and compliments!
I did a paintchop and the changed the trim to black...it actually turned out not looking that good haha. If this car was a brighter red then I could pull off the blackOriginally posted by rice4life View PostThe chrome around the windows is the only chrome on the whole side of the car. It accentuates the windows way too much.
Black the grille out too while you are at it.
The corner lamp on the passenger's side is fine but on the driver's side I decided to route my breather filter and oil catch can filter through the light so the fumes would stay out of the engine bay and cabin. It actually looks sorta cool in person and it's neat to see the steam coming out of the filters!Originally posted by Rocambolesque View PostHaha this is so unique! Props for having the lowest Turbo T-Bird IN THE WORLD.
But what's up with those corner lamps though....
