The 390s are not rev happy motors, but they make gobs of torque. My moms 65 turdbird is a 390. Drop it into first and it will roast the tires all day long.

Unfortunately this has an autotragic in it So I'll drop it into low and still roast tires! Yeah, they dont like much above 5k stock

i know it was a while back, but do you possibly remember where the smaller line on the booster went to? i have a 66 tbird im working on and the line is plugged. Same motor

I havent updated this in a long time.

This car sucks. Its rusty, ugly, has a shitty transmission in it, and it still has no engine. However, my engine is almost built. Soon, it will be semi quick, and low.

Nah, haven't even attempted to yet. I have the sheetmetal, Im just trying to finish up the engine and get it in. Theres so much rust. The plan right now is to slap the 390 back in, drive it till the tranny blows, then find a falcon or something to swap the built engine into.
