I started this build almost a year ago but I just joined the forum and thought id start a build thread now. I'll start from the beginning, my grandpa owned this truck since 85 and after showing interest in it for awhile he eventually gave it to me with the stipulation that I must fix it up and never sell it. Me and my Dad were originally going do to a quick clean up, lower it and drive it but after tearing it apart we decided to do it right and we eventually got carried away.

Before we did anything



It looked like it was in fairly go shape with minimal rust but it turns out the guy who my grandpa had paint it many years ago didn't get rid of any of the rust but just fibreglassed over it which cause many problems for us.



We had to replace most of the firewall


All repaired




Same deal with the bedsides so we made new ones




After we lowered it 4/6 and replaced the floors and rocker panels. It will be lowered another inch all the way around














How she sits now!


Next saturday we will be painting the door jams and firewall then the fun can begin.
