Keep the emblem.
Just a thought on your spoiler (which I love, by the way!), but I wonder if it might flow better with the body lines if you did this:

i think that shaving the boot will just look to bare, and empty as you say… i would leave it for now

I have been going back and forth on to shave the emblem or not. part of me feels like its way too bare a flat without it. opinions?Originally posted by kittenpuncher View PostBad ass trunk spoiler, when you respray the trunk are you going to shave the rear VW badge? I know that's kind of played to "shave" everything on VWs. But with your CC if you shaved the rear badge and have the custom fabbed duckbill I think you would have an awesomely unique rear end.

anyway, got a lot of progress on the top of the trunk, need one more later of chip filler for some pinholes. than onto those daunting corners. mind the pictures of that section.

This thing is so well done. I love the wheels, and the kit and trunk will be awesome additions.

dead thread or not, ill keep updating. so i took the plunge today on the trunk duckbill.
started with trying the great stuff expanding foam method. didnt like how it was turning out, so went with my original method of making it out of metal. mind you, i started this at 6 today, then had to head back for dinner, so theres a ton of body work to do. but the bones are there for now. more work tomorrow.
